The moon shines bright

It is our only light

Darkness cast upon the trees

Another barrier to block me

Steady the water quietly flows

They would no if I were to go

The ripples would give me away

So I must stay and silently wait

Shrouded in darkness they can still see

As I shine like a shooting star in the hidden trees

Suddenly the moon is not the only light

And I can rely on myself tonight

Illuminating the water like a beacon

I dive in and swim to freedom
