Bubble C

My imagination can be my worst enemy, at least it is today An exam sits in front of me, but my mind is far away. Instead of finding x or using context clues, I’m somewhere far away listening to the blues. My pencil is tapping, keeping to the beat, I’m a thousand miles away while sitting in my seat. Suddenly, a dragon is breathing fire into the air, I feel the heat surround me, and I don’t even care. I slay the dragon swiftly, after all he isn’t real, I dream of this - I dream of that - so much time to kill. Just then, I hear a voice that wakes me from my dreams, It’s not that I am sleeping, but I’ve drifted off it seems. “You have ten minutes left,” says the booming voice, I look down at my exam and realize I have one choice. The odds are stacked against me, I’m just on number three, So, for the twenty-seven left, I simply bubble “C.”
