Life is like a sharp stick you can point it in any direction and follow it’s line.

As I pass through the school gates for the last time I think about all the different paths that lie ahead and smile to myself because the choice is mine, the sun is shining and it seems as if the world is waiting for me.

I kick some pebbles on the pathway and trundle down to the train station, head home on the 4.57? Or could I? Dare I just take the next train into the station and see where it takes me? As I approach the platform a train pulls in, all green and gold and busy, I hesitate for a minute and then hop in through the welcoming open door.

As I find a seat and look round I wonder where the train is going but in all honesty I don’t much care. My future lies ahead and it is dazzling me.
