At Last
She’d found it at last
A sort of peace
When the world stood still
And she was free of her past
Alone as she was she was all that existed
There was nothing to hurt her here
And she let the pain leave her
No longer did her soul feel twisted
It was silent
She was alone
She was at peace
As the silence lulled her in
