Relativity Of All Relations

First of all, thank you all for being here to embark on hopefully a shared journey through the meaning of life. All spectulation, all guesses. But seriously, we can look to ancient religions, modern religions that have been intertwined in our history and Greek mythology to see that to make such a declaration that one knows the meaning of life is at its core an irrational assumption and somewhat of a baseless arrogance in the face all who sought and still seek higher authority, higher power and higher meaning across all spiritual-based communities, relationships and so on and so further.

So, no. We will lean on the wisdom of our history while paying respect to the brilliant minds before us whose attitudinal directions literally shaped, molded and carved our paths for us to exist in the world we exist in today. Both good and bad. Some ate the apples of our faith in humanity while others helped us plant more. Restoration. You may have heard of that expression. “Your faith in humanity restored.”

Without prolonging the intro, let’s get down to the real reason why we are here: the meaning of life. Okay? I will actually piggyback off of our faith in humanity being restored. I love watching these videos as compilations to get the full effect, if you will. In a world of struggle, feeling as if many of us beg sometimes for the bare minimum, I will always choose to see any good, positive interaction happening to anyone, anywhere. I say all this to say that it is not a new realization or discovery that people need people and people need our environment for basic survival. As we slowly even turn our environment into a reflection of us.

This is the law of physics. Motion, inertia, force, acceleration and more that give our scientists insight into how we literally move through the world and how this can be very impactful. Issac Newton said that anything that has mass needs something else to move. You’ve heard of chain reaction, the butterfly effect or maybe, even, the ability to move your legs, your arms. A luxury that not all have, unfortunately. We need one for the other. That’s physics at its core, to me with the relationship between a driver and a car as an elementary example for it.

Staying with this momentum, this is why I believe that the meaning of life cannot be found in existential crisises or mid-life crisises, regardless of the age. This is depth, not height. This is internal, not external. Life, biology, time, space are all intertwined, connected and harmonious with each other. True relief that answers singer Billie Eilish’s question in the form of a song, “What Was I Made For,” from the Barbie movie, can only come from immersing oneself in the world around you.

Closed hands cannot grasp knowledge and closed mouths cannot seek understanding. The meaning of life is an abstract concept of its own because there is no right answer, meaning that any human can apply one singular answer from one person defining what the meaning of life is, but it still takes all different kinds of forms, flavors and mentalities because we are all the same by classification, but as different as multiple variations of one singular flower or kind of tree. Our fingerprints can tell you that.

This is what I am hypothesizing the meaning of life under a theory called the “Relativity Of All Relations” or the “Law of Connection,” in layman’s terms.

In short, the meaning of life can be theorized as being responsible for the ever-evolving relationship between a bias yet purpose-driven internal evaluation of who you think you are and external social cues from yourself or others that communicate how you are being perceived. To fully understand this theory, both aspects will go through a filter of who you’d be without any opposition or issues in the world. This hypothetically produces a metaphorical scaling scale of motivation. Some areas of interest become irrelevant while the thought of no restraints fuel endless possibilities and freedoms to be explored other areas.

This is the meaning of life, to me. Physics, legacy and a higher authority. “Relativity Of All Relations” means that we need are always in a conversation with the world around us and collecting the most, being the first just for the sake of being the first, attempting to outshine others and more temporal, depreciating behavior is not solid. History has proven that many achievements can be eventually improved, replaced or deemed completely obsolete, in its entirety, at all later time.

The meaning of life can be easily understood as “leaving a mark,” but it’s more than an imprint. Some of the most impactful, influential historical figures stay relevant to this day because of the timeless application of what they did or said. You can relate to them and/or their words, then use these things as fuel or map to navigate through life, ie. fuel is motivation and a map is leadership. You either celebrate in gratitude or follow their approaches to life.

This at its core is the meaning to life: the relativity of all relations from the internal seeking for something or someone, then the external successfully or unsuccessfully fulfilling such an inquiry from within ourselves, then the internal using or not using all gathered information externally. It’s like, going to the doctor of life. “Why does this? How does that? What is this?” We are always seeking answers, insight, information, knowledge and more in a world that gives us all the reason to.

It’s all relative, not absolute, like time, because we, as humans, do pick and choose what is factual, evident, true or valid in our lives. Even in extreme cases of those choosing to only see good in the world while others believe all humans are susceptible to make bad decisions when given the chance. Most of us lay in the middle of the road, in relation to this. Neither all good nor all bad unless there’s a boldness and commitment to either side. However, psychology has proven that because your mind cannot access another mind, all of your opinions about the world around you is limited with a metaphorical boundary. Loyalty to your character. You will never validate a relation that contradicts your character. We can turn on our own selves, but it is all consistent with character.

Relative, not absolute. Similar to how we all have mass, as living, breathing things, but gravity decides how much we weigh. Relative, not absolute. How much do you weigh on Earth?
