Sooooo…..I didn’t realize that I took Spade’s perspective that would have been this next part and released it as Star Prince. There is a little part that came before it that didn’t fit into the word limit, so I added it below. Also, More Than Blood (Part 0.5) takes place right before Spade talking to Mr. Nevyle. At the end of 0.5, Queen Nerva has the conversation with Spade and Mr. Nevyle that occurs in Star Prince. It would’ve helped if I released them chronologically, but my brain doesn’t work that way 😅.

Extra part of Star Prince:

A giggle came from his mother. His father said something that had her lightly shoving him in the shoulder. No matter what he did, he couldn’t stretch his hearing to know what his father said to her, but Spade was fine with just observing them.

They were happy. The comfortableness, fondness, and general love was practically tangible between them. They never left their honeymoon phase. It was like they were normal school age children and not rulers with the weight of Allaver on their shoulders. He always longed for what they had with each other.

One glance at Cove and Thorne and Spade could tell they had a similar love that their parents shared.

Shorter relations were what he could expect. He could plan and be prepared for them to end. They became easy.

He acknowledged that this may not be healthy but it was what he did and he was comfortable with that.

“Prince Spade, if you could join this discussion, that would be most appreciated.” Spade shook his head to shake off his thoughts. Mr. Nevyle, the royal children’s main tutor, gestured for Spade.
