Through all the awful places that I’ve been,

And all the dark and evil things I’ve seen,

Through heartache's maze that kept me on the move,

I clung to dreams of someday finding love.

I've always longed for a son or daughter,

Imagined a home filled with joy and laughter,

I’d love to start a family, to someday own a home.

And in my heart, I know that day will come.

I looked back on my life and all the hell that I’ve been through,

How hard I had to fight when times were rough.

But now that i’m with you, the struggle’s over.

You're the light of my life, my other half, my lover.
