Ruby red petals overhead

On display under the sky

I walk quickly through them

Only glancing as my fear overwhelms me

My cloak is also a deep red

And it drags along the dirt path

My breath shudders within me

I can hear footsteps closing in on me

I must get away from them

They will capture me and offer me for ransom

My precious father is that rich

And many know him to be wealthy

But i don’t know if he cares enough to pay it…
