Write a series of three haikus about different aspects of something you love.
Haikus have the syllabic form of 5, 7, 5 syllables per line. Consider how you could use multiple Haiku to create a three-dimensional portrait of your chosen thing.
The Sun
Sometimes when I’m sad
I hide away from the sun
But I need its light
The sun is up now
Today will be a hot one
Time to go swimming
She hides behind clouds
Some days she needs to recharge
Some days so do I
