I Know Why Caged Birds Sing.

I know why caged birds sing.

They sing notes of despair, hoping someone will save them,

Their songs are cries for help.

I know why caged birds sing.

Because they’re spirit is free,

Putting a lock on their wings is like taking away their life, their will to live.

I know why caged birds sing.

Because they know where the key to their cage is,

They know where the capturer put it.

But they are afraid that if they try and reach for the key,

If they are able to escape and take flight,

Another bird will stop flying.

Hi!! So recently I got a few letters by fellow authors and felt really guilty about not responding, and unfortunately I don’t even know who this people are, so I didn’t know what to do. The thing is I don’t have premium 😅, which is why I can’t respond.

So sorry about that!!!

Thank you so much for reading!! ♥️♥️
