Give Me The Wolf In You

In shadowed woods where whispers softly dwell,

Among the pines where secrets come to life,

There lurks a truth that you alone possess,

The wild, untamed wolf that lies within.

Not for the day’s soft light or gentle touch,

Nor for the world’s adorned and polished ways,

I crave the raw, the stark, the primal call,

The song that from your deepest heart resounds.

Speak not of roses basking in the light,

Or gentle days or stars that brightly shine.

Instead, reveal the depths of twilight’s hue,

The soul that prowls beneath the evening sky.

I yearn to touch the earth-stained, rugged paws,

The feral might within those sharpened jaws,

To trace the mud packed tight and resolute,

The wild, unbridled essence that is you.

Wrap me in fur as dark as midnight’s shade,

Coated in the cool spark of the night air,

Pine needles form our bed for dreams anew,

Inhale the forest’s breath, its morning dew.

Your eyes, two lucid gems reflect the world,

They glitter with a hunger unrestrained,

To roam beneath the canopy of stars,

In starlit chase, our hearts as one will beat.

The night’s pulse, its rhythm fresh and new,

Give me, my love, the wolf that lies in you.

The world may never grasp or understand,

The beauty in the beast’s commanding grace.

Yet in the dark, our spirits freely soar,

Where only stars dare witness our embrace.

So, whisper low that feral, haunting tune,

Beneath the watchful eye of silver moon.

Unveil the creature that you keep within,

In that unveiled truth, let’s both confide.

For in your eyes, the wild’s embrace I find,

A dark, seductive grace that stirs my soul.

Give me, my love, the wolf that lies in you.
