The world today has lost its enchantment

Stories told long ago have lost their luster

No Greek Gods to worship

Or witches to burn,

Only dictators who sit on pedestals and execute the innocent.

Generational wars showing that instead of working together, we’d rather point blame.

It’s no mystery why the world is dying.

I only hope we can wake up soon.
