Christmas Lunch
The dog knocked over the table, joe, my dad fell into the pool! His phone is now soaking in rice.
My mom nearly strangled the dog!
This is why my family should never get together for Christmas lunch. It’s always crazy. My dad and grandpa got it a fist fight after dad fell in the pool.
Of course I found it all amusing. Since of course I was just spectating as usual. I never put myself in the line of fire. I just watch it all unfold.
A young brown headed girl wrote in her notebook.
She had neat handwriting, and a steady hand.
She wasn’t the most popular but fame wasn’t important to her.
For her all life was about is just living. Not really caring about what others think of her.
She’s had highs and lows. But she always made an effort to look for the good in everything.
Even in Maddison, her high school bully.
Maddison had a hard life. And as the saying goes.
Hurt people, hurt people.
We are never having a family lunch again. She giggled as she wrote the sentence in her notebook. She turned the light off and rested her head on her pillow.
“Good night Revelations.” She said to her German shepherd laying on the floor next to her bed.
