The Sister
I felt glued to the floor as the three of them walked by. Power seemed to follow them yet it wasn’t scary or intimidating, but comforting. The girls always giggled about the boys, how handsome they were or how they had smiled at them. But my focus was on the girl. She was the youngest of the three, with long, dark brown hair braided away from her face and sharp blue eyes. I had hear that she was powerful, and that much was obvious. However not many talked her beauty. It was a stupid thing to focus on after all, but was still worth acknowledging in my opinion. As if she could read my mind, she stopped abruptly, and turned in my direction. I should avert my eyes and keep walking but I can’t. She walks towards me and I fill will shock and disbelief as she crouches to my height. Her brother calls her names but she stays with me and she tells them to move on. Her focus comes back to as a kind smile forms in her face.
