It Begins
It begins. I step into a maze of a house as the door slams behind me. Thereʻs nothing but a wall and only one will leave alive. I told them it was a bad idea- we all know what happened here so many years ago. Nothing now to do but pray I die a less than painful death.
The air is filled with daffodils- it all seems alright, and when I turn the corner I am filled with delight.
Somewhere someone screams in terror and then we all go silent. I guess this horor game has finally gotten violent.
I sink into the basement and try to catch my breath as the three left around me try to cheat their death.
Then I hear a voice call me from upstairs in the den- a room I know so well since I was little- itʻs my friend. She hollers that itʻs okay and the building has been seized, but when I step into the room, her flesh is torn by bees.
I try to hide behind rhe curtain but what do I see?
A black room and a china doll with eyes both red and green.
I smash the doll on the floor with force, and pry its eyeballs out,
I donʻt stop until I know Iʻm safe without a doubt.
I look out the window, free, and what do I see?
That same china doll-and more- all smiling at me.
