12 years prior to coming face to face with Daphne in the mysterious log cabin, Bekan, son of Erland and Ivana Valgard and brother of Booth, Bothi, and Bothe, born and raised in Norway, woke up in a forest—familiar to him, just a few miles from his home, still piss drunk from the night before, wanting more than just fables… He recalled a man, tall and dark skinned, talking about myths from his country—Portuguese nymphs that could shape shift and had super human strength; and Chinese dragons, a hodge-podge of 9 other animals.

He sang aloud, trekking back home.

Stepping out of the forest and into an open field, covered in fog, he felt his boot hit a path… the fog began to clear clear and he could make out buildings he’s never seen before. The path was peculiar, but he ventured further onto it. Seeing the same song again, changing the animals in it.
