- Heavens Crest is a city in “The Fist And The Crown”

The smell of the salty ocean air filled Kanin’s nose as he took a deep breathe, collecting himself in a rare moment of solitude. He stood on the cliff side looking down at the city of Heavens Crest, taking in all of its glory. The small hamlet rested on the central coast of Ramshorn it’s white sand beach graced its shores, accented by giant palm trees that provided a great deal of shade to anyone looking for a break from the hot sun. From his vantage point he could see the town square off to the right of the beach. Inside the town square was a modest farmers market along with the tents of a few tradesmen and artisan workers looking to sell their wares. Surrounding the central hub of the town was a small residential section of hovels and huts, where the humble residents of this quiet community laid their head to rest and raised their families.

The Coasts of Heaven Crest were abundant with all sorts of aquatic life, making fishing the main trade. Fishing boats with anglers from all over were usually seen trolling along the shoreline at all times of the day.

Most fisherman found it to be a sanctuary for them. They frequented the famous tavern in the town square called Lorella’s Retreat, named after the Goddess of the sea. But most of all Heavens Crest was famous for it’s ancient cathedral that was around before the town was even a thought. It was nestled away in the north eastern outskirts of town where the beach slowly became dense forest. A dirt path from the northern part of town could be followed a few miles up into the woods where the pious worshipers of the old gods would pay their respects and worship freely. In recent times, under the fist of the empire the cathedral was defiled and vandalized. The new Supreme Leader didn’t believe in the old gods and so any structure erected in their name must be turned to ruins and closed to the public.

Kanin looked onward at that old cathedral, realizing the shape it was in and how the last time he had been here it was much different. As the warm sunshine gently rested upon his face, he took one more deep breath and descended down the cliff side path. He had little more time to waste his contact was waiting for him at Lorella’s Retreat.
