Chapter 1 Lessons learned It was a night, I woke up to a horrible thunderstorm happening outside, it sounding like buckets of water were just being poured on the roof. I couldnt go back to sleep that night. All my thoughts gathered in my head like they were forever super glued to my brain. It was a school day the next morning but I couldn’t even think about that right now. Day dreaming was a thing I suffered with, adhd not being about to focuse or be in your thought and not reality it very common actually. In my thought dreaming about floating in space, watching as shooting stars shoot across the incredible colection of planets and stars. It would be extraordinary and my dream if I could go to space and see the real thing. Before I new it was time to go to school. So I lazily got up and began getting dressed. " hun you going to be late come on ". Coming mom, a school day like any other but nothing to exciting. My older brother was always out of the door first . He can be so annoying sometimes but I love him. The time I reach school the day seemed less terrible. Until she came. Amaria my worst enemy, ever since we were little she would make fun of me for not being aware and I hate her for that. " Hey lizzy still day dreaming about AJ ". AJ was a guy I had a crush in since forever but how did she know that I only told my bestfriend Eve. Amaria was not in my branding because she was known as the slut in school. She thinks its funny for spreading rumors about everyone. Amaria and I never got along in a lot of ways. " lizzy i am so sorry she heard me talking to you on the phone i swear" said that stupid Elizabeth. Do you even know what you've done. You have ruined my entire high school year. I will never forgive you for that Elizabeth Catherine. " elizabeth catherine you never call me that" said Eve. Get used to it, lets hope she doesnt tell him otherwise your so dead. As lizzy walked away fiercely. Eve heart broke, she felt like she lost a part of her soul once again. Eve grew up in an abusive home, lizzy is all she ever had. That night lizzy couldnt sleep, her long luscious hair keeps getting in your face. This was bugging lizzy so bad that she climbed out her window into the dark gloomy night. Lizzy feet seemed to give her away as she walk in the pouring down rain, leaving foot prints that will never be washed away under the porch. At last lizzy came upon the forest right behind their house which by then it was dawn. A swarm of fire flies made the sight look beautiful. A sight lizzy had never thought she would dicover. Lizzy sat under a oak tree, soaked in her lama pjs and muddy feet. She began to wonder in her thought once again. She replayed the vison of fire in her mind as she was wondering why she got a call from Eve. While resisting the urge, she picked up the phone anyway. " lizzy i am in trouble you got to come qwickly, my house is on fire i excaped but my Foster parents weren't so lucky" said Eve while sobbing. Eve sitting by the wild willow as they call the tree in the front yard. As she sat there in her pjs with her short wet hair from the rain, which is what put out the fire. Then the thought of the fire and what happened to the Foster parents spored into her mind. her memories gave her a chill. "Eve are you ok" said AJ. " AJ what are you doing here you cant be here lizzy is coming and she would literally kill me if she new we were together" said eve little did she know lizzy was right behind her. "At least you got one thing right" said lizzy crying a river. " lizzy wait no i sorry please come back " said eve . AJ who saw the entire scene decided it was time to leave. " hey guys l8r i gotta go! AJ was such a traitor, made this situation worse and then dipped like his job was over. Lizzy so mad at her best friend and couldnt believe she would betray her like that.
