Hot chocolate cozies up on my tongue. Sugar snowflakes play coy with my taste buds. Snow melting by the front door, boots dripping. Snow melting off a pair of snow boots. Christmas lights wink at each other from strings of garland. A couple in over-sized jackets stomp their feet as grape juice makers by the front door. A woman tongues her lip from a canker sore. Yellow bracelets proudly laced around left wrists, all the cool kids have them. A woman slouches in her chair, tucking her eyes behind her hat, as a stoic brunette walks in. Rosy cheeks like Rudolph’s nose. A warm kiss on a cold wrist. She drops her lanyard in a chair near the counter. Her hydro flask balances half way on the counter as she sets it down. Yesterdays deodorant working overtime. A warm blueberry muffin, with a big top, melts in her mouth. A family stands as South Park characters.
