STORY STARTER

Time keeps randomly stopping around you, and you think it is you who is doing it. Then one night you are at a party, and time stops. Everyone is frozen, except one person at the other end of the room...
The Time Thief Pt 2
“Where am I?” I ask nobody in particular as I rock back and forth.
The last thing I remembered was Correolanus saying _‘You’re destined to bring time back together,’_ or something like that.
Then everything went black.
And now here I was.
“Who’s rowing the boat?” I manage to say.
Then I feel myself turn, and I’m cold.
Teal-blue water envelopes me as I sink deeper, my lungs screaming for air.
I can practically feel the icy water streaming through my veins as I claw at it with all of my strength.
And then I’m warm.
I let myself grasp onto the warmth, holding tightly to it.
Strong arms wrap around my waist, and I’m cold again.
An icy wind blows harshly, and I reach for the water, wanting to return to the warmth.
A muffled voice whispered to me “We need to get to safety, it’s ok.”
But it wasn’t, they had taken away my warmth.
“Let me go, please let me go,” I sob.
They carry me until I feel sturdy land under my feet, and I find the strength to finally open my eyes.
I don’t get a chance to see my rescuer before I’m dropped on a grainy, soft, and slightly wet patch of land.
Sand.
I’m on a beach.
I close my eyes, weakness overcoming me.
When I wake again, I find the strength to sit.
A blazing fire crackles near me, and I creep towards it, my hands red with cold.
My hair is messy, and I can feel grains of sand in uncomfortable places, but only one question itched at me like nothing else.
_Who had rescued me?_
__
I examine the area around me, looking for any trace that someone else had been here.
Nothing.
No footprints, disturbed grass, not even a hint that someone else was there.
Which meant I’m alone.
I try not to panic, so I stand. I’m on the beach, and just a few feet away grass grew with trees popping up around it, and small mountains beyond.
I have to do something, someone had rescued me, and I was determined to find them.
