Chapter 1

Oh, hi! My name is Emmy and I love to play Pokémon Shield. Me and my BFF, Evie, are playing Pokémon Shield. I got the game for my 11th birthday last week.

Also, I got this mysterious package for me. No return address, no name, no brand. It had to be for me because it said my address and my name.

Nobody claimed to send it to me. And I didn’t order it. I ordered an American girl doll. With a few kits.

There was this message with it and it read: Happy 11th birthday Emmy. Here is a present from me. Make a wish, use it up, and magical adventured are on the way. From Miranda. Ps: wear it everyday.

Weird, right! And why does it say magical adventures are on the way? Anyways, I decided to wear it everyday only because it looks expensive and it has my birth stone on it. Emeralds. And it’s really pretty.

“Emmy, next so called trainer wants to battle us.” Evie said. “Oh, you know we’ll defeat them.” I said.

Thats I when it happened. The game starts to glitch. “ What! Emmy, why is the tv glitching?” Evie said. “ I don’t know.” I said. Then the tv started to glow! “What is this! Why is it glowing!” Evie said. I don’t answer. I quickly cover my eyes with my hands.

Then my right wrist is glowing. Yes, glowing. I look a bit closer, and I see that my wrist isn’t glowing. It’s my bracelet. The one I had got in the mail. That had no sender. I knew it was weird.

“Emmy! What’s happening!” Evie asked. “I don’t know!” I said. I

looked at my hands, they have gloves on them!

Next thing I know, the glowing is gone. So I put my hands down, and I expected to see my living room and our tv right there. Instead I see a forest and Pokémon everywhere.

Where am I? Wait, I look like my Pokémon Shield Character, those are Pokémon, wait. No way. Am I in Pokémon Shield?! Wait, why is the bracelet around my wrist? There is no bracelet option!

Wait, where is Evie? “Evie?! Evie where are you?!” I call.

“Emmy?” I hear behind me. I turn around and see Evie’s character but hear Evie’s voice. “Emmy what happened?” Evie asked. “I don’t know. But I do have a hunch.” I replied. “I think it’s the bracelet. I still have it on and there are no bracelet in Pokémon Shield.”

“Well, how do we get out of the game?” Evie asked. “Maybe let’s defeat the fairy gym and see what happens.” I answered. The bracelet glowed brighter. “I think we’re on to something.” Evie said.

I nodded. “Let’s go defeat the fairy gym.” I said.
