Someday soon

Not all goodbyes are for the worst, sometimes all we need is a farewell that helps us let go. For me, her heart held no hate, I never saw a mean bone in her body and she cared, too much, for complete strangers. And so, I never understood, if a god existed, why he would take such a beautiful soul, so young. She held all the qualities of an angel, she belonged among the stars. I know she loves me and for that, it is all I need to know she’ll wait for me.
