POEM STARTER
Write a Petrarchan Sonnet on the theme of Autumn.
A Petrarchan Sonnet has 14 lines; the first 8 must have a rhyme scheme ABBAABBA, the last 6 can have variable rhymes, but are normally split into 2 sets of 3 lines.
You Are Loved
You are loved dear friend
Don’t let anyone tell you different
There are people who care about you and love you as much as I do
You to serve a purpose, your life has so much meaning
Please don’t waste your life because of negative feelings
I want you to know that you are loved
Loved by your friends, family, God, and me
The Lord has a plan for you, dear friend
Always keep that in mind
And don’t ever forget that you are loved, dear friend
