COMPETITION PROMPT
Water, fire, earth, and air. What would the four elements say if they could speak to each other?
Include as many or as few elements as you wish.
When the Elements Spoke
Water whispered first, voice smooth and deep:
“I soften mountains and cradle life. Without me, nothing grows.”
Fire crackled in reply, proud and fierce:
“And I awaken change. I burn, I forge, I renew. You may feed life — I ignite it.”
Earth rumbled low and steady:
“But I hold you both. I am the bones beneath your dance. Without me, where would you stand?”
Air laughed, light and restless:
“Yet it is I who give you breath and motion. I carry whispers, seeds, and storm. Try living without me.”
A moment of silence passed.
Then they spoke together —
“Alone, we are powerful. Together, we are the world.”
