Stranger in a strange place

I finally reached an area where daylight reached my surroundings. It wasn't much, but after stumbling around only by the sense of my hands and feet, it was enough to blind me. I couldn't tell if I saw branches or frozen water. There were ideas of trees, but then something moved. With some effort, I convinced my eyes to focus on the moving black ahead of me. Then, I heard a voice.

"Look."

I tried to look, but still, I couldn't make sense of what was in front of me.

"Look at this."

I inhaled slowly, and responded.

"What do you want me to look at?"

"The walls. Come look at them."

I slowly walked ahead, still using my hands more than my eyesight. I had no idea who this voice was, but it didn't matter. If I was in danger, it wasn't due to a shadowy figure.

I came closer to them. My eyes had finally started to accept that they should return to work, and I blinked a few times to help them out. In front of me was a wall. It resembled nothing I had ever seen.

I turned my head to face this stranger. "What is it?"
