Her lips pursed as she stared blankly
Some times judgemental
Of the figure she was bestowed
Going mental
Over her life that seemed to be spiraling
Doing the incomprehensible
Her body buried 6 feet under
She is now resentful....

The leaves came and went
Blowing with the summer wind
Oh how I remember summer with you in it
Going to the beach
Feeling sand beneath our feet
Water rushing
Us running
The joys and laughter
Ringing higher thereafter
Then,
Just like the summer leaves
You came and went...
