‘Birds circled overhead’, screaming in delight

Colorful blue and gold parrots, beautiful in flight

Talking mynah birds, laughing and singing a song

Chickadees and robins, jamming loudly right along

Beautiful peacocks proudly, displays tail on the ground

Watching from up above, the parrots flocked all around

The gentle wind blowing, through my tangled hair

Picking up my ukulele, and strumming with flair

Notes and chords, and mostly an enchanting song

Listening to the uke sing, your voice can’t be wrong

White sandy beaches, hear the echo of the drum

Telling their stories within the circle, they hum

Hands against leather or tan hide, beat with the sound

Women dancing as I drum, playing with the ear...

It started that certain Thursday afternoon, with a car page

I love the oil and grease and the gas, a car girl at my young age

My dad had a garage, so I grew up in a car learning to fix wires

The other kids wanted to go swimming, sitting at the beach fires

I knew that I had to get more information, to make the engine fast

So I am off to the library, on my bicycle with a fast motor to blast

The thumping of myself, inside a certain human body beats

Sometimes my arrhythmia skips, depending what he eats

Yummy fried chicken on the menu, always makes me work

Eating too much of that isn’t good, so now he is a real jerk

Now comes the pricy smokes, and that very cold icy beer

Once his nightly party is done, the sports is on we cheer

The next morning, I don’t feel so good, off to the doc...

Who was a scam, and a known con

He would cheat out, an older lady

Boy what a jerk, he was shady

This went on for quite a while

Fooling them with his bad smile

One day while his guard was down

He met up with his match a clown

The second clown, was a big man names Don

With blue eye and tattoos who was the king con

Now Ron the con was never more anymore...
