The unused cold grill, was turning flaming hot Who knew if the guests, would show or not
Mother dressed in her usual black, with death lace Eyes were present, but there was no smile on her face
Father didn’t arrive, but watched from the window below Looking up at the skies raining, red blood of new snow
Granny who was pushing, a hundred and two scary years Was laughing and telling tales, bringing us spooks to tears
Woolfie or also known as, little furry rascal of a brother He was raised in the woods, and found by our mother
As we all settled, down around the blazing fire flames of heat Our visitors or company arrived, expecting yummy things to eat
You mustn’t tell anybody, not even a soul Playing skip from school, wasn’t our goal
We hid out in the neighbors, old wooden shed Reading the comics, and scratching the dogs head
We ate root beer popsicles, and laughed and sang Being out of school that day, was quite our thang
What we didn’t know, as we kept our secret day one There was a huge test taken that day, no more fun
Our youngster day, turned into grounded empty nights Making up double homework, giving us the school frights
There was one thing, that we felt bad about it but We took one of our parents smoke, and lit a butt
Years later as we still hung on to, that smokey skip day Never to explain to ourselves, why it came by our way
People’s inner words and thoughts, sing like birds Others only listen with eyes shut, hearing words Everyone will buy the book, or read one single page Tired hands and eyes, are seeing this with every age Readers and learners smile, as they see all the words Youth and other students, will pass it along to the birds
Silky smooth skin with a inner glow, it moves and slide She looks in the mirror, at her flawless skin with pride
Dark brown eyes scanning the crowd, feeling it out She walks in causing a gasp, let’s scream and shout
Elegant set tables and gold chairs, moved with ease Making way for the one of a kind couple, you please
It slowly slid its beautiful smooth long body, across the floor She walks along side her mate with pride, not single anymore
He politely asks her to dance,in his hissing snake like way She bows her head shyly, and begins to move and sway
The chandeliers started to shake, and set off a colorful glow Things were happening all around, and we just didn’t know
Doors were suddenly open, and other snakes began their attack She the human was suddenly surrounded, and knew she wasn’t going back
The newest 8th wonder of the world should be A small piece of the wall of china, for us to see

A map to the lost city, of the Incas to be found Manchu Picchu is a mountain, hiking ground
Just a few ancient ideas, for us to share Hopefully the future others, will really care
Hearing the strange distant screams, it woke me up tonite Could it be an animal or far away thing, giving me fright
Windows and doors silently shut, one by one slide and click Rushing around the house as before, making us all very sick
Hot cinder like breeze blew in from nowhere, sickening breath Bloodshot eyes and pounding head, are we all close to death
Floor boards shaking and ripping, the printed woven rug on the floor about What did we get ourselves into this mystery home, I loudly did scream and shout
Suddenly voices came out of nowhere, and said to us in a loud howl like scream You don’t know what is happening tonight, go back to sleep this is only a dream
Here we are gliding along, by the skin of our teeth Difference of politics and means, beyond my belief
Always falling apart, wearing the shoe laces of time We are together by name only, when you are not mine
The familiar song of I have to work again, he whines to me You are never home I reply, and this is what I expect of thee
Finding out about her being in our life, this I am not fond She now skates on your negative self absorbed frozen pond

The minute Lucy got out of her brothers car, she saw him and froze My silly brother stood there not moving at all, in his fancy clothes

Starting its tiny new life, on solid ground of earth The parents couldn’t decide, where to give birth
The two choices of the time, was the land or the sea Little was even known, about the sky above to be
Shapeless puffy clouds and the daily sun, is all they saw Rain and cold wet snow, covered the cold families paw
It was then decided this weather, is just to much to face Given the third choice and with some others, we are off to space
Egg like capsules hung in the air, ready to fill up and go off and fly There was one left for a single of one, alone I really wonder why
Silently following the other yoke in the sky, my egg started to crack I had a sinking feeling, that me and my egg was not coming back
The blast of uncertain space air, sent my fur rise up in a fight I wasn’t here alone lost by myself I purred, the moon so very bright
Off to the new unknown planets, in the atmosphere of my life of cat Twitching my striped tiger like tail, I will be fine I purred just like that
