I guess i should write about tall buildings and pretty scenes A place of wonder One you’ve never seen But my words will not allow Let your imagination go wild This city of wonder dwells underneath Crystals and lamps are symbols of teeth Tunnels below tunnels it all runs so deep A world of creatures no one wanted to keep And among the circular buildings and shinny red stained streets Dweld a restaurant on mulberry street What they served, You wouldn’t want to eat Pipe lines and sewers The smell doesn’t bother So go down on into the hellish slaughter Of the city of hybrids The city that never rains The city the over world didn’t bother to keep
As i looked into those red hot eyes, i saw my future go up in flames. It hurts to breathe, my brain is on fire. Is that person in the mirror… really me? Or an empty shell of what once was. What once was an innocent child, learning about the ways that life goes. Just to find it cold everywhere i go. I look at the scars on my arms and wish i could be that innocent child again. Or wait. Is it possible i was never innocent afterall? I did have those dreams and i did crave at too young an age. Look in the mirror, but don’t tell me what you see.
