The light right above the bus stop gave Michelle a sense of safety, clanking her heels clutching her bag close to her side trying to muster up a little heat on this dark winter day.
“Ugh I forgot daytime is cut in half”
Masking her fear with an attitude, hoping to ward off anyone watching her
she knew how vulnerable she was a five foot women alone at the last bus stop at 2am, two abandoned buildings right across the street and behind her a construction site she was about 10 feet from the entrance.
Pacing back and forth wondering when the bus will make its rounds she hears a random clank Somewhere but she’s unsure
“Hello..” “Clank clank clank”
It speeds up getting louder the harder the wind blew
She looks down both streets, empty darkness was all she could see, the small alley between the abandoned building adjacent from her emitted a small light as if a door was left cracked open.
Clank… clank… clank clank clank. A can comes rolling out of the ally instantly calming her a little.
“ almost gave me a fucking heart attack stupid can”
She smirks to herself thinking how silly shes acting, she finally takes a seat from pacing back and forth to calm her nerves.
God had grown tired of watching defenseless humans ripped apart by demons, trolls or any other mythological creatures written in books, So he blessed them.
On 2023 October 22nd the worlds greatest fear came true. Aliens, at least appeared to be.
They came with promises to help the decreasing population of humans fight back against the creatures of the night,
how they helped you ask? Well they blessed us.. Sounds crazy hearing it at first, even took a awhile to accept it But To begin every person has something unique about them, some control fire others water, wind etc.. but on the other end some inherited powers beyond imagination
But still… still we fight Constantly killing each-other for control of each-other
“Everything!” “I remember everything” he roared it as if he was holding his breath the whole time while watching himself do the unthinkable.
His hands clasped upon his face, as he slowly glances at the long mirror against the wall unsure its him
A backseat to your own demise he thought as he watched himself torture his family with his own hands.
The only thing that came across his mind afterward was why.
“Why did I do this…”
He laid on the living room floor for hours wondering why. Why he didn’t have control He’d never hurt anyone before.
But something came across his mind, something so simple but unusual.
A women whispered in his ear on the subway, everything after that was blank.
Winter falls to spring forth another day, A new year with new reasons.
every year that progress is saved Good or bad pass or fail
sunny times are precious moments memories the youth will never forget
rainy days free the sorrow, dress twirling in the rain
Snowy days brought family close even mr.Scrooge had to change
The glimmering Christmas tree stood about 7 feet shackled from bottom to top with eccentric ornaments, with your occasional red and white Christmas balls scattered throughout it. Placed at the top was a golden/white star with a signature saying “merry Christmas”.
Oddly enough the star was the simplest ornament on the tree, a few branches had a small photo of the whole family and a few individually sibling spread around the tree.
a random grinch figure sat at the bottom of the tree wearing a Santa clause jacket hanging upside down reaching for the presents.
A red, white and green dragon wrapped around the middle section of the tree holding little jingle bells rattling off every-time someone shook or bumped into it.
Again and again
I put effort in, never wanting to feel the regrets pride could leave behind.
Again and again
Disappointments, are you the one I call mother? The lack of affection made me think otherwise, the anger toward your own I could never relate. life was hard but coming from where you come from how could you think this was the way.
Again and again
In hopes you wake up before we’re out of time.
Again and again
envious of close families because it isn’t mine…
The shining sun slanted on the kings palace forming a line terminator through the castle.
The king-Gazing from the balcony of his room felt conflicted by its beauty, feelings not of threat But misplacement.
“why?” Obsessed and tormented by the empty answers he always retreated to for comfort “wealth” “fame” “beauty” mentally replaying every pleasure they could bring a king… all day he thought but still he felt nothing-found nothing Until.. “N-nothing!” ”Bang” “Nothing at all!” “Bang, Bang!” slamming his fist on the throne commanded the attention of the nobles simultaneously Scattered the servants from the throne room retreating like roaches into the shadows. The brief pause as the a king stands
“Im stepping down as king to enjoy my life, with my comrades who live. seeing their sons take their mantle inspired me to pass the torch to the next generation! Love live the kingdom.
Person 1:
You say what you feel I say what I think maybe we both lost.
Who’s to blame, we both point the finger like “it’s your fault!”.
I swear sometimes I’m nervous when your around On me every mistake, feels like you kicking me down I ain’t perfect.
picked you up when you were down, listened to all of your problems when no one was hearing you out stuck around long as I did for you to figure it out.
I said “ I always got your back” Same shit you told me.
Handled every single problem that was thrown at me (alone).
I put in all these years and spent years away from family.
Why start half this shit if you didn’t see yourself staying with me
Life’s ain’t all Disney movies and in time I hope you learn that truly.
Selfish bitch.
Person 2: when I met you, you were fun loving and caring a little rude with a hint of daring
It was fun in the beginning but we both were immature, remember all the mistakes we both had to endure?
Broke car, no money, constantly spending damn we were young and dumb
Not a care in the world-as long as we were having fun.
But that stopped, your worst mistake was sending me off
I met friends, who encouraged me to let go of it all
And right now it’s worth it.
