Tortoiseshell glasses don’t dim the sparkle in her eyes. Green, deep and wise. A strong, straight nose sits between freckled cheeks and above a full, wide mouth. Her teeth, which she thinks are goofy and hates are normally hidden in pictures. She saves her best smiles for me.
Beneath, her tiny chin makes me laugh.
Her skin is pale and soft.
But it’s her eyes. She looks straight into my soul and knows her heart wants the same as mine.
All this beauty is framed in cascading brown hair, blonde highlights hiding most of the grey.
