After the smoke cleared and fires burned out We still had to be sure there was no nuclear fallout This war didn’t solve a thing other than over-population At least no one can claim discrimination No this was complete and utter annihilation Because wars aren’t fought with soldiers these days It’s cyber attacks, drones, and missles setting the world ablaze While “soldiers” sit behind screen arrays The rich calling the shots and the poor and innocent pay the toll All for just a little bit more money, power, control. But this time someone over played their roll The earth will heal and flourish again But people on the other hand We may have met our end
Sleep had long been my friend There was no start and no end Just endless nothingness an abyss It was just me there was nothing else Until one day suddenly There was a light before me I had never experienced this before At first I tried to no avail to just ignore Each day it grew warming me Days after that I found myself smiling! Then I start seeing others pass me by All these years I thought it was just me myself and I Then that fateful day came when everything changed My world, beliefs, even the abyss was all rearranged A beautiful woman simply gave me a hug Took me by the hand and suddenly I was unplugged Since I’ve had my awakening remember it all The selfishness, the greed and my downfall Yet the entire time she was there Keeping me safe with prayer I don’t deserve this incredible gift So I’ll spend forever showing her how I appreciate it
