On the outside, it’s such a welcoming place. Some where you’d want to come home to. Some where safe.
On the inside, after opening the door, stench travels fast into your nose.
Unsure what you’ll find you still step into the room.
Clutter everywhere the eye can see.
Chaos covers the floor
It’s a mystery what is underneath.
The pictures decorated with cobwebs of past happy moments frozen in time...
Where will my mind go if I let it wander?
Where will I let go?
Into the wind rushing by,
Thoughts that make me ponder.
Obsessing over past mistakes get me no where.
The wind blows harder, blowing those thoughts right out of my hands without a care.
But to try and catch them do I dare?
Its calming down and the sun is warming my skin.
I open my eyes suddenly awakened again....
