People always say ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ ,but they don’t live by it.
I was only lived by this saying. When I was young I remember me, my brother, and my parents going to the local landfill to look around for anything of use/value. Always came out empty handed for anything of value, but always came out with something that was useful. Until we did find something.
It was just another day we went to the landfill. Then me and my brother were just playing around and looking around every once in awhile, but where mostly playing. Then I saw a small shiny object in one of the landfills.
“What the heck is that?” I said softly
As I got closer it looked like a ring with a huge diamond that was a really vivid red color. I picked up the ring then I ran to my parents.
“MOM! DAD! LOOK I FOUND SOMETHING!”
As I got to them they had a skeptical look to them but they looked and were amazed that the ring.
We left the landfill in rush and went to a jeweler to get the price of the ring. Then we’re in shock because of the price difference of the ring
“Your telling me that the price of the ring is all most 2 million dollars!” Mom said shock and out of breath.
Jewler with a really layed back voice like he dealt with something everyday “Yes ma’am that is how much this ring is worth.”
“How much will you buy it for!” Mom said excitedly basically shouting every word at the man.
“It’s only right to pay you what the ring is worth. Here a check for 1.7 million dollars.”
That’s how my family got out of poverty.
As I walk on this beach I hear a song that draws me closer. It’s so sweet so smooth. It sounds like a large orchestra. I can see the the glimmer of the shining wood but it only 7 play that I see standing. As I get closer the sound get bigger but I can’t see the faces of the players. But when I get to the instruments there just sitting in the sand of the beach all crack and ruined. But the sweet sound stills is coming out of them.
It started a week ago, my arm felt stiff and I felt bumps everywhere on my body. I just thought it was me but then it wouldn’t stop. A week after my legs started to feel stiff as will. So I went to the doctor, they didn’t give me any medication but they said would go away, with that im went home still feeling the same.
Two months later, my hole body still feels like it is wood. I can barely walk or lift my arm and my skin feels and looks almost like bark.
Every day I get stiffer and stiffer and become more thirsty and need more water. Then one day I step in to a field and was never able to move you feet and walk away. Now I can just move my mouth and stuck in this field for I have turned into a tree.
All in a golden afternoon, under the skies of cloudless blue. I sit there waiting for you. Oh my love I wait by a stream so strong and true. Forever I’ll wait for you. For you have stolen my heart, soul and mind. Forever I’ll wait for you. I hear the whisper of the willow as I wait. Feeling the spring breeze it’s like a kiss of cold air on my face. Forever I’ll wait for you. All in a golden afternoon, under the skies of cloudless blue.
Come on Kun let’s go for a ride. It was late afternoon, and just the perfect time to go for the ride on Kun my giant winged serpent. Like every other day we rode the same route. Looking for intruders on the property but it was mostly just for fun.
We were near the southern mesa when I saw something shiny so me and Kun went to investigate.
It was a trap door but it was locked shut. We started to leave but then someone came out. I did not know who it was, so we went back and introduced ourselves to him, but he acted like he never seen a winged serpent before. Which was strange for some one who lives around here because there like flys, there everywhere. He ran away but he left the trap door opened, I looked at Kun and we went in. Now we’re here and might never get home.
Woh great story but we’re do you really come from?
