“Well sir… it was 12:30 am, as soon as mike stepped foot into the room I could tell something was off-“

“So your telling me that you think the birthday boy did a masked murdering of 18 people?” The detective said by butting in on my story.

“Yessir as I was saying…. When he stepped in the room something was wrong.. he just wasn’t himself and of course it was a masquerade ball type of party, which I personally think was all setup for the murder. But then at 1 am the killer struck, first killed was Joseph, second Henry, third Riley. And the rest were unseen because the lights shut off. All I could hear was screaming and crying, so I lied down and pretended that I was dead.”

“And that worked?” The detective was super confused by how calm I was during this whole thing.

“Mhm”

“Ok I think I’ve heard enough thank you for your time” and just like that he up and walked away.

But the best part is he never released it was all a lie…. I was the masked murder, and the only reason I ever left mike alone was because it would be more believable if he killed those people then a sweet innocent girl.

“I only had 2 class periods with this guy i hardly know. But i lay back and observe how this poor guy was being treated. All i know is that a lot of people hated this random guy for no reason besides his eyes. He would always get bullied at school, when people would talk about 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧 they would only reffer to him a “a freak“ or “a waste of air“. And the worst part is he would never stand up for himself. I would notice some days he would come to school with his eyes so baggy and red from crying all night. Although i cant speak, i wanted to find a way to help him. But it felt impossible... Although non of this matters now because i was 1 minute too late.“

And with this whistle, she is able to distract everyone by blowing it, and swinging from tree to tree which she later grabs from the circle is a rope. So her enemies don’t see where she’s coming from her was will be able to distract everyone. She is able to come out number one in the hunger games, but had to lose a good friend who came in with her…
