It was becoming that time of night, the lights shine dim softly glowing yellow and burning orange.I continued to walk the path into the woods it was the quick way to get home seen as though I needed to stay back at work it was my day to close up.
The path was long winding and narrow it had big uneven patches of stodgy mud ran along side probably because of big groups of kids trying to huddle with friend in a row, but the with the path being to small that’s not entirely possible.
Walk up the path was fairly easy it wasn’t up hill like the other ways home. It began to hit night, apparently there was sightings of wolfs and bears but those are probably kids playing a joke in the town, the thought is still scary though. But the further I walked into the forest the more reassured I felt by the fact it was a joke, the trees were thin decaying and fugus intertwine with the roots and the scars and grooves of the trees. Branches hooked over and hovered over the path reaching out to the next tree branch on the opposite side of the path.
Up ahead was a siloet it was tall had broad shoulders and thin waist, my guess at the time it was someone trying to get how like I was, I found it odd the it was almost 1:00 and it was heading toward the town center. Heading towards me. Its face was fuzzed , tangled unfocused it had nothing covering its face, it was just unmanageable, unreadable well how can you read a face you can’t see. The shadow began to draw close my head swung to the floor I didn’t want to seem like those creepy people that have no shame and just stare well that’s what I think it was not that fact that this figure at a odd aura radiating off of it, strange perculiar thing. It walked by me my head still point to the floor it was my guess a she I managed to see her shoes she was wearing heels jet black ones. as I had just managed to capture what she had in her feet she swayed past and wave of cold flooded through me . When she pasted i turned around to have one last look , a mist of fog appeared , the fog clearned and the figure had gone
