The stars smiled upon us, as if they knew we would soon join them  But how they knew is the question I have to ask How did they know that our lives were not to last

I mean, I knew I would be up there in the skies one day I just didn’t figured it would be before I was turning grey 

I mean, they have been watching all of mankind from the moment we were born So I guess they know when it is time for our lives to be done and torn 

I am sick and so I probably won’t be here when I am supposed to turn gray And I think about that every time my body starts to decay

A little bit more every day, getting me closer to my death date

Hopefully the stars knew that I lived a good life So that when I am up there I will go to heaven and not be turned down to hell by a knife

So hopefully they know that I’m gonna join them soon So they can have a party for me and have it can happen in my favorite time of the day  Noon Getting me closer to my death day or date

I start hearing this sound Coming from the ground

Flickering light shoot up in the air So fast and so loud

All of these colors in the sky So beautiful and so amazing

The sky was dark and the world Felt dark and scary too

But once I saw these colors in the sky The world felt happy,bright and pretty Like all the darkness was gone

The lights covered the sky so you could not see The stars

All I saw was light not darkness All I saw was not a black void with twinkling lights

But colors getting brighter and brighter than the sun and the moon

I saw blue and red,purple,yellow and green All the colors in the rainbow and anything in between

I had so many happy feeling in the world all at once

It was so wonderful and filled with color

When there I see big lights,like the sea of the skies

I go to sleep,late at night Being tired from the long and hard day

When morning comes, I open my eyes And it’s the first time that I actually realize

My purpose in life What I meant to do here

And with that realization, I can see new things I mean who knew the colors could be so beautiful and so deep

Nature is so beautiful and so delicate and there’s so much green And when I take a whiff of the air, oh, it is so clean

I can now enjoy as time goes by Because I know who, and what I meant to do and be

I know why I was created Why I am in this reality

I am no longer scared of time passing by Because I know what I need to do in this life

Everything is clear now And through a mirror, I can see my reflection for the first time

I have never been able to before Before I just saw colors and skin that was barely visible

Now I can see myself in the mirror,clear as day I can finally see myself in a different way

Hopefully more people can come to this realization in life Because when I did, it was the most wonderful thing, that I have experienced in this time

Colors were brighter, And so was my mood Instead of being sad and depressed, like always , I was happy and not at all rude

Everything seemed in place for how my life was supposed to go I finally felt the purpose in this ife, and I was not scared of death anymore

I know what I have to do, but I know that once I do I will not be here anymore

But it’s fine because it’s what I was supposed to do here Make a change and then I’m gone

But I’ll remember a life lived well Even if I have no life at all
