With promises turned to dust.

Who is left to trust?...

Day in, day out, it’s going to hurt,

Hurt so much because you’ll be gone,

Gone far too long for me to understand,

Understand why you actually left,

Left me with so many thoughts,

Thoughts I hope to never have again,

She’s a girl and she is my friend,

I don’t know what to do with these feelings as they linger,

I’ve searched and her type are impossible to find,

All I could do was listen and hope she was lying.

But the universe is not a liar, she only speaks the truth.

And yes I may not understand why but I believe there's a reason.
