The smell of burning. She finally realized, fire. She was at the sixth floor of her eight floor work building, she had to go. It was at the top, she had time to flee. She had two decisions, run or get all of her belongings, her family pictures were there she could never loose those. Does that cost her life though? Yes, she couldn’t give them up. So she took a bag and grabbed everything important she needed. She could smell the fire, two floors away. Hurry. She had to. She grabbed all of the pictures and ran as fast as she could. Five floors to go. Down the stairs, four. Another, three. Two more to go. Last one, the fire was on her tail. She ran as fast as she could. The building was crumbling, but she made it through the exit. She was safe.
I was sitting there screaming at my brother. He knew the consequences of his actions. I told my brother not everyone found his stupid pranks funny. He didn’t listen…. Now it’s all his fault. We spilt apart.
I live with my husband and two kids. We all share a decently large house, and are living happily. I have NO siblings, at least that’s what I tell everyone.
As I sat there with my family HE knocked on the door begging for forgiveness. I just couldn’t forgive his mistakes. I told him to leave. He begged me, I finally agreed. He actually turned out to be not so bad after all, I still never could think of him the same.
Cacti, sand, hot dry weather climate. That’s what Sandy was used to, growing up in the hot weather she had never experienced something so magical as the little flakes of snow falling and covering the ground. She hadn’t ever seen anything so fascinating. It was all new to her. When Sandy had woken up on that snowy morning she didn’t know what to do with herself, she just got on the sweat pants and hoodie she had, as she never needed a coat and headed out to the snowy yard she had only seen in the movies or on television. She hadn’t even thought it was real at first. She had never seen her yard without the dry green colored grass. Sandy had almost slipped on her ice covered stairs. She didn’t know what to do with herself, she just flopped in the snow as her cheeks turned red. She built a snowman, and even had a snowball fight with her neighbor! She was having the time of her life! After she made hot chocolate and recalled the fun she had of the day. Hoping for the snow the next day.
The blue birds singing The the sky so new Oh what happiness it’s bringing And the sky never looked so blue
The grass greener With the wind it blew How much meaner And the sky never looked so blue
The rain not pouring Everything sprouting up new The tree sprouts forming And the sky never looked so blue
What a joyous time The spring time new Oh why oh why The sky never looked so blue
I was an experienced climber, nonetheless a gold medalist. This time I decided to climb the world famous Mt. Everest. I started my expedition at the earliest time I could, April to be exact. My team and I were climbing for many hours, days! Sadly we lost two of our members during the expedition. We set up our tents at a resting place. We woke up in the morning and ended up loosing our grip. We fell down about 100 feet. I was the only one to survive, I needed a team, how will I survive? I had to go back down, but I can’t stop. I’m so close! I decided to keep climbing only a little to go right? I was barely there when I realized it was turning into horrible weather, now I’m stranded, no team, no one to help me. I had to set up camp. The weather was horrible, the snow was practically carrying me. I didn’t know what to do. No one is here yet. I’m alone.
A newborn animal is a very tiny animal from the birth of its mother. Most mammals are born without sight until they are close to a year old. Most house pets aren’t able to be in homes until they can see because they need proper care. The animal is not old yet so it has to have the good care of it’s mother, but sometimes people will take pets in and give them milk or food for them. Most animals in the wild stay with their mother to stay safe and learn critical skills when their older. Animals rely on their mother for the things they need in life before they can go live on their own.
