"Your crown is made of the people's bones and hunger" He cried out, holding onto the wound bleeding from his stomach as he looked at Eiji trying to recognize some sort of remorse only to be left with nothing but a look of disappintment.
"Those people mean nothing to me! If it was for you" Eiji's voice broke as he yelled back at him knowing what could have been if Ash hadn't tried to stop him or if Eiji hadn't accodentally stabbed him in the midst of trying so hard after so long so that they could be together. Eiji kneels down beside him and hold onto the stab wound he had previously inflicted onto him.
Ash just stared at him wondering where they went wrong, whose path had they crossed to get this fat from where they wanted to be. "After all these years spent together and you finally show your true colors, I thought you loved me too, I thought after all thsi time we could finally be together and you..." He paused trying to compose himself as to not to let the hurt and anger seep through his voice.
"I DID IT FOR US ASH.. okay"
"I did it so you and me could be together - to rule together so we didn't have to be a fraid any more or hide-"
"Eiji-" He coughs up blood covering his mouth with his hand.
"I love you" He said with an empty smile leaning his face into Ash's hand.
"No.. No.. Please dont leave me. PLEASE NO DONT DO THIS ASH" For the first and last time ash meets their lips as he bursts into tears.
"I thought maybe starting a famine in my kingdom would make the common folk less angry towards having a homosexual king and focus more on their hunger"
