Winter,that open lake frozen over not a ripple in sight here comes that bitter air shocking and breathtaking,walking on hills I see trees with no colour I see flowers never bloom the frost breaking at every movement winter starts winter ends I see it every year I await for the bird it sings so near open the fire crack the nuts drink the cherry await for winter to come again...
Climb the rocks climb the ladder with ambition and with power look up not down look forward not back go to the future be done with the past sing a new song everyday dance a new dance each step of the way they say forgive and forget why yes things happen everyday forgetting is okay forgiveness why should we forgive isn’t forgetting enough that’s what I say anyway...
