There will always be those older than us

Wiser than us

And with gentler hands.

For so long they have held the earth

In their palms

And passed it on from eon to eon

With all the gentleness

Of handling a child.

It is only in their brief moment of rest

That we have let it wilt in our grasps....

When men ruled

The land, and that

Was not planned

We never realized that

We Are more than a single part

We clean, we help, and we do more

Do not listen to the

Their in charge of women

Not all men

are without a brain
