(Yes I did just make my own iteration of TMNT where their females, don’t judge me it’s food for my soul. Basically the main cast is gender swapped, including my ocs (except April, John, and Charlie) . Here’s some info:
Dee: She/her Softshell turtle Dark green with metallic accents and a golden shell Purple bandana and glasses with a ribbon tied around her waist Donnie is a total tech genius with a love for problem solving. She’s rather awkward, but is fiercely loyal to her sisters and friends
Leona/Leo: Loggerhead turtle Deep brown with golden accents She always carries her katanas around and wears a blue mask + hoodie Leo is the lovable and strong leader who is always up for a challenge. She’s usually very charismatic, but totally head over heels for Don (Dawn in this AU). (Shes always has to be well hydrated since she’s a sea turtle.)
Rafaela/Raph: Snapping turtle Earthy green scales with reddish accents Heavily armored and one of the taller ones (Dee is still taller and has never let her live it down.) she wears a red mask (imagine Mikey’s mask from TMNT 2018, that’s pretty much what it looks like). Raph is the hot-headed, I-don’t-care-what-you-think-Imma-do-it-anyways tomboy of the group who loves her sisters but bickers with Dee a ton
Michel/Mikey: Green sea turtle Bright green scales with light brown freckles She has long, flowing ribbon tails on her orange mask and loves fashion, constantly designing turtle-style clothes. Mikey is the happy-go lucky sister of the group, whom always brings joy to all the people around her. She has a surf-board inspired hoverboard to help her get around easier since her sisters are faster than her. She also has to stay well hydrated.

Are you stalking that ferret guy again?” Dee said, leaning on her bō staff, staring down her blue-masked sister as she leaned over the side of the building.
“What! No! I’m not stalking, I just admire him!” Leona exclaimed, flushing a darker green under her mask. Dee just chuckled, rolling her eyes. “You’re always watching him but get all nervous when he talks to you! Just talk to him.”
Leona stared at her sister like she just said that pigs were falling from the sky, and shook her head. “TALK TO HIM?” She repeated, appalled. “He probably thinks I’m some turtle freak who lives in the sewers!”
The purple-clothed turtle rolled her eyes, chuckling. “You literally just described us. We do live in the sewers, y’know?” She purred, smirking down at Leo.
Leo flushed, pouting. “Yeah, I realize that now…OH NO HE’S GONE!” She exclaimed suddenly, peering down the building trying to see Don, but he was gone. She groaned, burying her face in her flippers, “I’m never going to get him to like me, let alone notice me! I’m just a nobody…”
Dee frowned, patting Leo’s shoulder and helping her up. “Hey, don’t say that, you’re awesome!” She insisted, patting her shoulder, before pausing and sniffing the air. “I know what will cheer you up! Pizza!” She winked, picking up her short sister and slinging her over her shoulder.
Leona laughed, struggling in her sister's grasp as she jumped off the building and walked to the opening to the sewer, plopping her down and grinning. “C’mon! I’m sure Mama’s waiting for us.”
Leo nodded, feeling a bit happier, and followed her sister through the strangely pleasant smelling sewers (due to Mikey’s constant baking and her flowers). She trotted next to Dee, her mind still whirling with thoughts of Don. Finally, they arrived at the lair.
The lair was large and inviting, with Mikey’s plants growing around the entrance. Strung around the living room were Raph’s video games and boxing gloves, along Mama Splinter’s blanket.
The two walked through the lair, drawn to the kitchen by the alluring aroma of the pizza Mikey had just made. They practically floated in, and were greeted by the sight of Raph, Mama Splinter, John, and Charlie sitting at the table munching on the cheesy delicacy.
“Oh, hey you too!” Charlie called, with mouth full of food. He swallowed, grinning at them, and his huge bat ears twitched happily side to side. “You came just in time. But where were you?” John asked, an unintentional edge to the cat yokai’s voice.
Leona chuckled softly, rubbing the back of her head. “Oh, I was just out admiring the city with Dee. It’s pretty out, right Dee?” She said, nudging Dee’s elbow.
The turtle snapped to attention, clearing having zoned out again, and laughed way too loudly. “Yup! The vibrant colors and loud noises totally don’t give me a headache.” She said, a bite of sarcasm to her voice which drew an annoyed look from her bubbly, anti-sarcasm sister in orange. “Enough of that!” Mikey said cheerfully. “Time for you two to eat! It was made with lots of love!” She giggled sweetly, setting down plates for them.
Dee thanked her and Leo nodded silently, sitting down and nibbling on the pizza. Dee practically inhaled it, clearly starving from a long day of fighting that annoyed Flora girl; the pesky fox yokai who never let them have a day off.
Once they all finished, Leo stood up, brushing crumbs off her hoodie, and excused herself from dinner. She trotted to her room, still thinking about the handsome ferret who had captured her eye. He was just so perfect, so handsome, so….out of her league.
Leo groaned as she plopped on her bed, looking up at a wall with several pictures of him and a few of her sisters. She curled up into her shell, her hoodie becoming more like a blanket than an outfit as she lay there. I’m so obsessed with him, it’s insane. She thought. _I know it’s bad, that he’ll never like me back, but I can’t help it. He’s just so…perfect. _As Leona lay there, her thoughts drifted around from Don to Charlie and John, the new members, to stupid, awful Flora.
After a while, Dee tip-toed in, before plopping on the side of her bed. “Are you alright? You were so happy and then all the sudden—“ Dee made a motion with her hands, going up and then plummeting downwards.
Leo shrugged, uncurling from her shell and sitting up. “I’m…fine, I guess? I don’t know, I’m just so love sick, it’s stupid, really…” Dee shook her head, grabbing her sister’s flipper and giving it a soft squeeze. “It’s not stupid, you’re just struggling a lot right now. Not only are you dealing with this crush, but you also are having to adjust to two new members in the lair and a relentless villain.” She chuckled weakly, staring at Leo. Leona blinked away tears, nodding and hugging Dee.
“Just, don’t be so hard on yourself, okay?” Dee whispered, slowly melting into the hug. Leo nodded softly, cuddling into Dee. Everything felt so calm, so perfect…
Little did she know her world was about to be rocked. Because, as the lay there, a silent figure snuck around the lair, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
"I think I know who's doing this." John murmured, half to himself.
Of course, Charlie heard him with those big ears of his. "Who, John?"
John laughed nervously. "No one. Forget I said anything."
"If you know who it is, you better tell us cat." Hope snapped. "The faster you three can leave the better."
John sighed. "She's not really, um, easy to find. But! If another portal appears, we can go through it before anyone comes out and hopefully find her from there."
Leo rubbed the back of his head. "Sounds risky. Who knows where the portal might take us?"
"There's not really any other way." John shrugged.
"Leo, you promised you would get rid of them yesterday." Hope reminded him.
"I know, I know, fine." Leo relented. "We'll do it."
"But who's all gonna go?" Mikey asked hesitantly.
"Clearly Leo and I." Hope answered quickly, turning to Raph. "And Raph and the cat."
"Why can't we go?" Charlie whined.
Hope dragged a hand down her face. "Not more whining."
"Your mom is just going to come here later and drop her back off, so don't get too used to the silence." Leo squeezed her other hand.
Hope took a deep breath. "Easier said than done."
"Since our plan is in place, I'm guessing you all have better things to do other than just standing around." John ushered everyone out of the kitchen except for Charlie and Dawn. He wanted to talk with them.
Hope grumbled under her breath. She wanted life to just go back to being full of Leo's family again—without those three—but that might not happen for a while. So for now, she would try to relax. She deduced to turn a movie on and went into the living room to do so. Leo leaned over the back of the chair as she scrolled through choices. There weren't very many.
"Bored?" He asked eventually.
"And tired of waiting." she leaned her elbow on the armrest, balled her fist and rested her cheek on it.
"Same." He circled to the front of the chair. "Move over. You need cuddles."
She obliged, still scrolling. He grabbed her hand and the remote and moved the selector back to some Jupiter Jim movie. Then took the remote away and put in down. They watched the movie in silence, Hope adjusting herself to be sprawled over Leo halfway through. Then an ear-piercing shout echoes around the lair coming from the main atrium.
"I'm gonna guess a portal finally showed up." Hope remarked after peeling her hands off her ears.
"A portal appeared! Better come quick before it disappears!" Mikey called.
She smirked at Leo and pulled herself up. She made her way to where Mikey's voice had come from and flipped over. John was already there, so was Raph. Hope shrugged and fell backwards into the portal right as Leo appeared around the corner. Everyone else followed suite once he was beside them.
The landscape on the other side was dark and almost depressing looking. Hope rocked on her heels. Leo and the others were glancing around like something was about to ambush them.
"So, what now?" Hope asked eventually.
"She's not here." John turned in a circle a few times, just to be sure. "We'll have to wait for another portal. For now we need to find somewhere where we won't be discovered."
They raced across the rooftops. Whatever this place was, it looked a lot like their New York, just gloomier. Much gloomier. And the strangest part was that everyone was solid. John suddenly ducked behind a vent. Except he didn't duck, he was pulled.
"Uh, guys...?" Raph slowed down.
Hope and Leo skidded to a stop and headed back to where Raph had stopped. Both signing in exasperation.
"What is it, R–" Leo broke off when he looked down at who was holding John in a tight hold. "Oh..."
"Let go of the cat, Mikey." someone said from behind them.
Leo, Hope and Raph spun around.
"But he's so soft!" the turtle mutant now behind them protested.
Hope blinked. She couldn't believe her eyes. When a much different dimensional variant of your husband is standing a foot in front of you, what do you do? A much more difficult question to answer than ask.
"Yeah, we'll just be taking the cat and leaving." Leo said, starting to walk away.
"Not so fast, pretty boy." the probably-Raph-from-this-dimension blocked Leo's way.
"Back off, red." Hope growled. "We're not here to cause trouble and by the looks of your masks, neither are you. So you can just let us go about our business."
"She's right, back off Raph." the blue-masked one commanded.
The Raph grumbled and went back over to the Leo's side. Hope heard a sound behind her and turned her head to watch the Mikey go to stand by the Leo too.
She cleared her throat and resolved to introduce them all. "I'm Hope, that's my Leo with the stripes, that's my Raph over there and the cat is John."
"You must know who all we are then." the Leo glanced at his dimensional counterpart, who was whispering something to Raph. "You can all call us by our full names for now to make it less, well, confusing."
"Great, Leonardo then?" that was meant to be more of a question than she made it sound. "We came here completely by accident and are trying to stop someone—who the cat won't tell us about—from continuing to send mutants from probably her dimension into ours."
A bright shimmering portal suddenly appeared to their right. Hope sighed with relief. She didn't want to be in this particular dimension anymore.
"Well, that's our call to leave." Hope headed toward it. "It was nice to have met you...three..." she just realized this dimension's Donnie wasn't here.
She yanked Leo with her into the portal. Raph and John weren't far behind.
"Oh, this is so much better!" she exclaimed. "I never want to feel or be solid ever again!"
"I'll take it you didn't like that dimension very much?" Leo teased, nudging her.
"If I wasn't so happy to be flat again, I'd probably make you look over there and push you." She warned.
Leo just laughed. She pointed in the direction of his right. He turned his head -- gullibly, I might add -- and she pushed him over.
"Hey!"
She fell back laughing so hard. "I warned you I was going to do it!"
The ground behind her head was hard. She sat back up and glanced around. The dimension they were in now also looked like their version of New York. It was brighter than the last one's, but still not nearly as bright as their New York.
"How many times are we going to land in dimensions with different versions of the turtles in them?!" Hope wanted to scream and let all of this New York hear her.
She buried her head in her hands and swallowed back the scream bubbling up her throat. Leo gently rubbed her back. Raph and John just glanced at each other.
John cleared his throat. "Hopefully this is the last time. One last portal should get us to where the creator of all these portals is located."
"Speaking of that," Hope raised his head and tried to get her stare to burn through the cat's heart. "You still haven't explained who exactly she is. Is she a mutant? Human? Yokai perhaps?"
John huffed. "She's a yokai. Portals only appear whenever she sings."
"And what is she to you?" Hope added, raising an eyebrow.
The cat stiffened. "Just a, uh, really good friend no one where I'm from has ever heard about...yeah."
She rolled her eyes. "That's not suspicious at all."
Leo suddenly elbowed her. She could see out of the corner of her eye why and took it upon herself to introduce them all again.
"I'm Hope, that's my Leo, that's my Raph and the cat is John." she explained to the four without looking up. "We'll be out of here soon, don't worry."
"How are you so tall?!" Tiny Raphael exclaimed, having walked up to Bigger Raph. "How do I get that tall?"
"I don't think you can." Raph laughed nervously. "And being tall isn't as great as it looks."
"Yada, yada, it was great meeting you four for a few minutes..." Hope trailed off as -- hopefully -- the last portal appeared. "Bye now!"
She pulled Leo in with her again. Raph and John went in after them, vanishing with the portal. The ground on this side was soft this time, being grass and not concrete. Hope couldn't be more overjoyed. (Except for when she wasn't solid anymore)
"She's here." John said after a glance around their surroundings. "Everybody keep an eye out."
Something -- or someone -- descended and landed in the middle of the little circle they had created unknowingly. "Well, welcome guests! It's nice to have some."
Everyone spun around at the same time. John narrowed his eyes.
"Jaz." the cat growled.
"What's with the greeting?" the two-tailed fox asked, mildly hurt.
"You should know why." John rolled his eyes. "You've been making portals all over the dimensions."
"You should know I mostly sing when I'm feeling happy or sad." Jaz reminded him. "I just missed you."
"Look, Jaz, was it?" Hope broke in. "You sent three different mutants into my dimension that I personally didn't want there. And neither does Raph here. If you could sing them back to where they came from that would be great."
"Well, I could..." Jaz trailed off in thought. "But I won't."
"What? Why not?" Hope demanded.
"You are really not good at first impressions, are you?" Jaz got closer to Hope.
Leo stepped forward and pushed the fox back. "Back off, cooperate and this won't end poorly for you."
"Aren't you going to stop them from saying these things to me, John?" Jaz turned back in his direction.
"Not unless you bring Dawn and Charlie back here where they belong." John said.
"I already said that won't be happening." Jaz repeated, falling back into the grass and closing her eyes.
Hope pulled everyone a few feet away. "What are we going to do? We can't just keep asking."
John sighed. "I have an idea. But it's not going to be pretty. It's best for all of you to stay here while I do it."
"What?" Hope asked.
"I know Jaz best. She'll listen to me before she listens to any of you. Just please stay here and don't move. I'll have you back to your dimension and Dawn and Charlie back here before you know it. Please trust me." he added.
"Frankly, I don't trust you, but I can just this once if that's necessary." Hope shrugged.
John nodded his thanks and hurried back to Jaz. They were far enough away that Hope, Leo and Raph couldn't catch any of their conversation. Nearly two minutes later, singing rang out. Hope had to admit -- Jaz really was good at singing. A portal opened beneath their feet, making them fall down through and for Dawn and Charlie to fall up through. Hope was finally home and the mutants were gone. John rushed over to his friends as the portal snapped shut beneath them. He was so grateful Jaz had finally agreed to send them back home.
"Are you two okay?" John asked worriedly.
"We're fine, John." Charlie reassured. "Glad to be home, though."
"Same." Dawn and John agreed at the same time.
Hope groaned as she stood up. She felt like she had been to the sun and back today. Her mom stood at the entrance to the lair, holding something, and blinked.
"Was it a bad time to bring her back?" Her mom wondered. "I didn't want her to be away from her parents for much longer."
"No, it's alright, Ma." Hope smiled at the bundle in the woman's arms. "Leo, she's back."
Hope's mom carried Chandler over and deposited her in Hope's arms. Chandler immediately started crying -- obviously for a nap.
Hope wanted to cry herself. "Please, baby, don't cry. Mommy can't take crying or whining right now."
YASS Finished and out before I go to bed, let's go (it's nearing midnight🤫) Also, 2k12 TMNT and TotTMNT jumpscare because why not Had to give Hope a break from being ✨solid✨ so I used TotTMNT as an excuse to do that cause going even further back in time to 2003 or 1987 didn't make sense...although -- unpopular opinion here -- the show was a complete bust And with all that said, without further ado, thus endeth Portal Troubles I think I speak for both of us when I say we hope you enjoyed this roller coaster Prbly time for me to go to bed now, peace out✌
John adjusted the tight blue and green goggles on his face, scanning the room. His gray tail flicked impatiently behind him as he glanced around, trying to pick up any energy signals from his emotion-reading goggles.
Nothing.
This was strange. The lair, usually, bursting with life, was empty. And quiet. John hated silence. Growing up in a loud, noisy house with two younger siblings, he wasn’t used to silence.
A shiver of unease pulsed through him, and he shook his head. He knew where the turtles were; out fighting Florian. Again. He didn’t understand why they were so obsessed with that stupid fox yokai.
What really made him scared was that he couldn’t find Charlie or Dawn. They almost never left, he knew them. They were comfortable in the luxury of the hidden lair. So where were they? He didn’t know.
Suddenly, a flash of blue light appeared in front of him, and his fur stood on end. Flashing letters appeared on his goggles: high energy levels. With a deep breath, he stepped forward, and was sucked into the portal.
Leo held Hope’s hand, his forehead pressed against hers as he held onto his wife. Suddenly, with a bang, a portal opened, and out stepped a gray and white cat yokai. The yokai’s eyes widened, and his tail bristled.
“Leo?!” He hissed, unsheathing his claws. His goggles were going crazy from the strong love levels it was reading. “You cheating bastard! Who is this?!” The cat growled, pointing at Hope.
Now his goggles flashed with a new emotion: confusion. Oh, and pretty high anger levels coming from the girl.
Then, John looked Leo over. This wasn’t his Leo. Or should he say Dawn’s? It didn't matter, this wasn’t the Leo he knew.
Suddenly, a paw on his shoulder caused him to spin around, face to face with Dawn. He felt his face flush as he took a step back. He didn’t like her, of course, but she was pretty.
“John, it’s okay.” The ferret mutant purred, her voice soothing like honey. “We’re in a different universe. This isn’t the Leo I’m dating. This Leo is in love with someone else.”
John nodded, but his tail was still bristling. He loved Dawn like a sister, and felt very possessive over her and her relationship with Leo. He didn’t want anything to get between her and her lover, but sometimes he felt that because of this, he was becoming the problem.
Just then, Hope spoke up, and John’s goggles flashed red. Annoyance. And maybe…rage? He couldn’t tell, but the girl was certainly upset.
“Another one! My goodness! Babe, send them back, please.” She begged, turning to the red-eared slider. Leo looked uneasy, looking them over. Charlie soon joined them, wrapping his arms around John as an affectionate greeting as he mumbled a hello.
John patted the fruit-bat with his tail, but he was focused on Leo and the girl. Send them back? How?
“Leooo!!” A voice called, and John immediately recognized it as Mikey’s. “Please don’t send them back yet! They just got here!” He complained, walking in. Immediately his gaze landed on John, and he grinned, his stubby tail wagging. “KITTY!!!”
It was like lightning. One second he was standing next to Charlie and Dawn, and the next he was in the arms of a Mikey that wasn’t his Mikey. His Mikey was much more spotty. Still, the hug felt good, and his goggles flashed pink with high levels of affection.
As Mikey cuddled John, Donnie walked in, glancing at the new mutants and yokai. He didn’t look surprised at all at the sight of John, and instead just walked right past him to talk with Leo.
“I’ve been studying the dimensional rifts in the atmosphere that were caused by those portals.” Donnie began, and John let out a sigh of relief. That sounded just like his Don. “And the computers have determined that someone is making these portals. Definitely someone powerful, at that.”
John struggled in the grasp of Mikey, his ears perking up. This sounded interesting…yet familiar. Oh.
Oh no.
John knew who was making these portals, and it wasn’t Florian like he originally thought.
Damnit Jaz.
❤️🧡💙💜 So sorry for taking so long to make this part! I had like zero inspiration, and then suddenly it all came flowing in! Also, the reason John has emotion reading glasses is because he is awful at reading people, so Donnie made those for him so he won’t be confused anymore lol. Also Fluffy, I’ll explain who Jaz is in the comments so you can add her for the next part ^^
This one was shy. It was obvious by the way they immediately curled into themselves when they finally opened their eyes. Hope didn't know what to do. Her life had been filled with loud, unafraid-to-speak-their-opinion kind of people and now a shy one suddenly shows up?
"I'm not good with shy people." She deflected when everyone in the room turned to her.
"Sure, but she's a girl!" Leo got behind her and pushed her forward.
She cast a glare over her shoulder at him but reached to gently put her hand on the new mutant's shoulder. The ferret startled. Hope yanked her hand away just in case.
"It's okay." she whispered. "What's your name?"
The mutant didn't answer for a second, but was flicking their eyes over her face as if searching for something. She clearly didn't find it.
"D-dawn." she replied timidly.
Hope forced a smile and backed away. "Great, we got Dawn's name, so now I can stay far away and keep my suspicions of both of them to myself."
"Raph seconds that." The snapper agreed, nodding.
Dawn notices Leo and uncurls. The ferret's eyes sparkle with something Hope knew too well. She steps in front of him to block Dawn's view.
"This Leo's mine." Hope snapped. "Save your feelings for your Leo."
The slider's face flushed. Mikey nudged him playfully with a smile. Dawn quickly looked away.
"Hey! Dawn!" Charlie suddenly exclaimed. He must've been hiding his eyes or something, how did he not notice her drop in? "You're here!"
Dawn turned her head at his familiar voice. "Charlie? I was looking for you! Then this weird portal opened beneath my feet..." she trailed off.
"The same thing happened to me!" The fruit bat told her.
Hope couldn't help but roll her eyes and pulled Raph away into the living room.
"What is it?" He asked.
"We really need to find a way to get these two back home." She sighed. "Sure, they're friendly, but Leo might get too attached and I can't have that."
"Raph senses jealousy." He chuckled.
"I am not jealous!" she protested. "Look, can you help me convince Leo to send them home or not?"
"Sure, I'll try. But as his girlfriend, you should know how stubborn he can be." He warned.
"Yeah yeah, I know. But I also know he can't resist it when I pull the 'damsel in distress' card." She smirked.
"Raph forgets you were in the Foot sometimes." the terrapin shook his head with a sigh.
"Why thank you, I'll be taking that as a compliment." She bowed low.
They headed back to the kitchen. Donnie had come back from his lab and was showing Charlie whatever he had drawn while also continuing his inspection of the bat's wings.
"Hope, you can't tell me she's not adorable." Leo yanked her over to see Dawn.
"She's not." Hope said, straightfaced.
Leo sighed. "You can't be this closed-minded. That's not the Hope I know or got married to."
"Right, and this Leo that seems to be on anyone's side but mine isn't the one I know or got married to either." She raised a brow purposefully.
"This is the first time we've had visitors in forever and you're acting like this?" his voice got a little higher pitched.
"Excuse me?" she laughed. "I'm being unreasonable when these two literally showed out of nowhere from a different dimension—no, actually not out of nowhere, the first one came out of your portal."
Leo straightened his back and turned his head to the side to stare at the floor. "Maybe parts of the Foot Clan never truly leave someone."
She gasped. "W-what?"
She stood frozen for a second. Leo kept his gaze on the floor—clearly he knew he had messed up. Raph slowly walked forward and led Leo away. Hope still didn't move. Donnie, Mikey, Charlie and Dawn glanced at each other, unsure what to say or do.
Mikey eventually cleared his throat. "You, uh, okay?"
"I-I'm fine." she wiped the single tear away. "He didn't mean it. I know him better than that. When he comes back tell him I'm in his room, will you?"
Without waiting for an answer, she ran out of the kitchen and slammed Leo's train car door behind her.
He didn't mean it. He didn't mean it. He didn't mean it. He didn't. mean it. He didn't mean it.
She repeated that over and over and over while pacing in a circle. She took deep breaths and eventually calmed down. She wanted to curl into his bed or somewhere and sleep, but knew her buzzing brain wouldn't allow her to right now.
"Can I come in...?" Leo's hesitant, muffled voice asked.
"No." she answered, going over to sit in front of the door. "Just talk through the door."
She heard him sigh and sit. They stayed like that for a minute or two.
"I didn't–" he started.
"I know, Leo." she interrupted. "I know you better than that."
"Raph told me you two wanted me to try to send them home." he said. "We can do it tomorrow, I promise. Okay?"
She took a final deep breath, got up and opened the door. Leo nearly fell back into her legs, but pulled himself to his feet in time. She wrapped her arms around him in a hug.
"I trust you, Nardo." she pulled away and looked deep into his eyes. "You know that, right?"
Aahhh, it's done now Sorry for the wait, I got distracted writing a Hope and Leo winter scene and Hope and Leo's wedding for a bit there😭 And Leo truly didn't mean that, I wouldn't do Hope like that, I swear🙏
(This is a ROTTMNT story with FluffyFrog! She’ll continue the story on her page.)
Let’s try this again.” Leo said, waving his Katanas in the air. Mikey bounced excitedly from foot to foot while Donnie poked at the pizza on the counter.
“Are you sure this will work?” Hope asked, crossing her arms and tapping her foot to the sewer floor.
Leo flashed a toothy grin her way, his katanas gleaming under the dim sewer light. ‘Sure I’m sure!’ he said, his laughter cutting through the stale air as he slashed the portal open. A glowing blue circle shimmered, casting flickering shadows across their faces.
The portal flashed purple for a second, shimmering and flickering across the room. Donnie adjusted his goggles, glancing at the faintly flickering portal. “Hmm. Odd. The dimensional resonance is unstable…must’ve been a glitch. Or something more..?”
Suddenly, out of the portal fell a gray bat mutant, his velvety gray-brown ears covering his face. He had a tattered tank-top on and pants with neon patchings. The group gasped, crowding around the unconscious boy. Raph began to lift him up to a table, and Mikey fanned him. Hope stared at the bat, feeling sorry and suspicion rising.
“Oh gosh.” Hope said, her eyes widening. What were they to do?
-+-+-+-
“Where am I?”
Charlie’s rubbed his face, a dull ache throbbing through his body. He blinked, his eyes adjusting to the light of them room he was now in. His wings were sore and stiff, and his heart pounded against his chest. Suddenly, he found himself face to face with the most beautiful girl he had ever met. With short, blonde hair and darker skin, she radiated beauty. He wasn’t around humans much, but he found himself drawn to this one. But with his keen senses, he could immediately feel that she wasn’t a huge fan of him.
She jumped back, her short hair bouncing with her quick movement. Charlie’s velvety gray ears swished side to side as he looked around the place, his gaze lingering on the girl. Suddenly, it dawned on him; this was just like _his _home.
He then glanced at the figures standing next to the girl, and realized they looked just like his friends. The blue one resembled Leo, but with way less stripes then his. The orange one; Mikey for sure. But his Mikey had tons of spots. The two resembling Donnie and Raph looked almost the same to his friends, but Donnie appeared to be extra grumpy.
“Who are you…uh, _what _are you?” The girl questioned, raising a brow quizically. Charlie gulped, fiddling with his claws, his eyes darting around nervously and his face heating up slightly.
“My name is Charlie.” He said, standing up and spreading his wings slightly to stretch. His outgoing nature was beginning to appear, and he didn’t feel so shy. “I’m a fruit bat mutant.”
Donnie’s eyes sparkled, and he immediately came forward, examining Charlie’s wings and ears. “Fascinating…” he mumbled, putting on his goggles. “How far can you fly with this large of a wingspan?”
Charlie tilted his head, chuckling. It was embarrassing, but he had never really even tried to fly. “I don’t know.” He said. “I’ve never tried, I guess..”
That caused Donnie to grin, a determined expression appearing. “Then we’ll have to soon! I’m sure you’ll love it!” With that, the spiny soft-shell hurried off, probably going to draw some sketches of wings and papers on how to fly.
Mikey then stepped forward, and Charlie resisted the urge to just pick up the little turtle mutant. He loved hanging out with his Mikey, and he hoped to become friends with this one.
Mikey opened his mouth to speak, but the girl (Hope, is what Charlie realized her name was from overhearing Leo talking to her) immediately cut him off.
“Well, imma go with your from another dimension. So what’s it like?” She asked curiously, seeming interested. “Well, it’s a lot like this one…uhm..do you guys have a evil Fox Yokai who wants to kill you too? He’s like, super tall, old, and a silver fox. He has a major grudge against mutants because some mutant killed his wife…” Charlie said nervously, his huge ears twitching. Leo and Mikey exchanged glances, before shaking their heads. “Nope…?”
Charlie then let out a relieved sigh. “Phew. We’ll then, that’s the only major difference between our worlds.”
Mikey’s eyes lit up. “Cool! So it’s like, an alternate universe?!” He grinned, his stubby turtle tail wagging. Charlie shrugged, nodding as he messed with his tank-top collar. “Yeah, I guess. I really,t had no idea there were any other universes.”
Mikey nodded, and began to blab on and on about the different dimensions and stuff, before moving on to the villains they face. While he and Charlie talked, Hope pulled Leo to the side, glancing around skeptically.
“I don’t trust that guy,” she muttered, her gaze narrowing on the fruit bat as he fiddled with his tank-top collar. Something about his sudden arrival—and the way his eyes darted around like he was hiding something—made her skin crawl. Then again, she might just be overreacting. He wasn’t always overly keen on males…
Leo shook his head, chuckling. “He seems nice enough. And I think he likes you~! Didn’t you see how red he got?” The red-slider teased, elbowing Hope and causing her to laugh and poke him back. But she couldn’t help but flush at the comment.
Hope glanced back at Charlie, his velvety gray ears twitching as he laughed at Mikey’s jokes. For a moment, her chest tightened—not with suspicion this time, but something she didn’t like. He hated him and wanted to squeeze him at the same time. It was infuriating. Especially since she knew her heart belonged to Leo…but then again—No. He’s just a visito from another dimension….Right?
Raph, having been quiet the enter time, spoke up, resting his large, scaly hands on the two’s shoulders. He had been watching Charlie very closely. “I don’t know, Leo.” He said, staring skeptically at the bat. “He seems pretty scrawny. What if this is all some trick, and he’s a spy?”
The room fell silent after Raph’s comment, his words lingering. Charlie’s ears twitched as he caught the tail end of the conversation, his excellent hearing betraying him. His wings instinctively folded tighter against his body as if protecting him.
“Spy? Me? No way! I couldn’t possibly ever do such a thing! Besides, I’m much too small.” Charlie joked, lifting painted claws in mock surrender. His bright smile didn’t quite reach his eyes, and he looked to Mikey for backup.
Mikey nodded enthusiastically, wrapping an arm around Charlie’s shoulders like they were life-long buddies. “I believe him! He’s so sweet and squishy! He couldn’t hurt a fly if he tried!” Mikey giggled, squishing Charlie’s face and speaking in a baby voice. Charlie flushed at the sudden contact, but chuckled. This Mikey was just as affectionate as his.
The others nodded, all seeming to agree accept Hope and Raph. Something just felt to her about Charlie, and Raph fed off of her emotions. Maybe it was just paranoia, but the whole incident seemed rather strange.
The others gathered around Charlie, talking with him about their alternate dimension selves and his relationships with them. They were fascinated to find out that there were more mutants, like John, Dawn, Trixie…the turtles found themselves wanting to meet the friendly fruit bat’s comrades. Hope and Raph strayed from the conversation, walking off to another area.
“We should keep an eye on him.” Hope told Raph when they were finally away from the others. Raph nodded, his shell glinting in the dim sewer light. “I agree, best be careful when it comes to newbies-“
“You two!” Leo’s voice called from the kitchen. “Come quick! We have a new visitor! Sh-she fell through some random portal! Imma need some help moving her!”
Hope’s head spun. Another person? Maybe it was from the same dimension as Charlie? And isn’t Don mention the portal being off? What if it’s a loophole, and more and more mutants will be released from that dimension. If so, what were they to do..?

I had so much fun writing this! I hope it was ok, and that you enjoyed it, Fluffy! If you need me to change anything, I can.
Tbh the person who fell through the portal was Dawn ✨
(Yet another ROTTMNT story! This one is about Mollie and Mikey!)
It was a beautiful summer day, and the Hidden City was hosting a Festival of the Arts, where artists, singers, musicians, etc. would come to show off their talents.
None of Mikey’s brothers wanted to come with him, so the orange banded turtle was afraid he wouldn’t be able to come, but Autumn offered to join him, and they headed off to the Hidden City. When they arrived, Mikey and Autumn immediately headed for the painting booths.
While the two were painting and talking, Mikey noticed a beautiful, fluffy Balinese mutant walk on stage and begin to sing for the crowd.
Mikey watched the cat mutant as she sang on stage at the Festival of the Arts. She was so beautiful, her cream and brown fur fluttering in the wind as she belted out the lyrics.
After the girl finished her song, she cheerily thanked everyone for listening, and skipped off stage, her tail swaying behind her.
Mikey was in awe, almost a trance, and Autumn waved a hand in front of him. “Hello? Earth to Mikey? Ya alive in there?” Autumn asked, her voice sweet and inquisitive.
Mikey snapped out of his trance, looking back down at his painting in his hand. “Y-yeah. I’m fine. That cat was a really good singer, am I right?” Mikey stuttered awkwardly, glancing at his squirrel friend.
Autumn shrugged. “She had a nice voice.” She replied shyly, before directing her attention to her sketchpad.
Mikey nodded silently and went back to painting on the canvas, still thinking about the musical feline. The festival had several different booths for painting, sculpting, sketching, and animating. Along with the booths there was a huge stage in the middle of the area, where people would go up to either improv or sing.
“That’s a really pretty painting!” A voice from behind Mikey sang, and he felt a soft paw on his shoulder.
Mikey spun around to see the girl from earlier, beaming with joy. “Oh! A- thanks! I saw you singing earlier, you have a wonderful voice.” Mikey grinned. He tried to act casual, trying to start a conversation with the girl.
The mutant giggled sweetly, fidgeting with her sapphire necklace. “Thank you!” She meowed, her eyes shining.
Mikey smiled back and put out his hand to shake. “I’m Mikey. It’s always nice to meet a fellow artist, and another mutant at that!”
The cat shook his hand, the creamy colored around her neck fluffing up slightly. “Nice to meet you, Mikey, I’m Mollie!” She purred happily.
The two immediately hit it off, and began painting and talking together along with Autumn. Autumn was shocked at how fast Mikey befriended a total stranger, and found it sweet.
“So, you two wanna join me for pizza sometime this week?” Mollie asked, her voice as sweet as honey.Mikey hastily agreed with no second thought, while Autumn looked hesitant. Mollie seemed nice enough, but she was always slow to trust people.
But seeing how Mikey practically shined with love and admiration for this stranger, Autumn knew he would be sad if she didn’t come along.
“Sure, sounds fun!” Autumn smiled softly, flicking her fluffy tail side to side. Mollie grinned, “Great! How about Friday at 2?” She offered, and Mikey and Autumn agreed. Mikey was so happy with Mollie, it was like being with another of himself.
She understood him, despite only knowing him for an hour or so, and Mikey loved that. He knew it was crazy, but he was beginning to have feeling for this friendly feline…
Mollie suddenly gave him a little nuzzle, and did the same to Autumn, leaving Mikey blushing and Autumn just…meh. “I’ll see you two soon, but I have to go. Oliver, my brother, is waiting for me!” Mollie mewed, and with a flick of her tail, she disappeared into the crowd.
“I think I’m in love.” Mikey said to Autumn, half joking. Autumn just laughed, shaking her head. “You two would be an adorable couple, but how about you wait a little? In the words of Elsa ‘you can’t marry a girl you just met.’”

Hi y’all! I hope you liked this little story! I know how much some of you like Autumn, so I decided to incorporate her into this! I had no idea how to end this chapter, so that ending wasn’t great. 😅 I’ll be working on Raph and Leo’s parts next. I already have Leo’s half way written but I’m silly and finished this instead of his. Anyways, I love yall (platonically ofc) and I hope you have a good day/night!
"Okay you two, we have finally landed in our new home, New York, so I beg of both of you, don't-Matthew!" Aaron shouted at his brother, who was already picking gum off the bottom of rails.
"What, it's gum!" Matthew held it up and put it in his mouth, immediately spitting it out. "Okay, I'll admit, that wasn't as good as I thought it would be."
"Exactly! That gum has been in another person's mouth before you!" Aaron growled furiously.
"Aaaannd, it was stuck to the bottom of that disgusting rail." Everly added.
"See, even Everly agrees! And she doesn't agree with anything!" Aaron shouted.
"Pipe down, Aaron, people are staring, gosh." Everly whispered.
"Then this bozo better stop eating gum of random rails!" Aaron pointed at Matthew.
"Ugh, he will. Let's just go." Everly pulled her brothers farther down the sidewalk by their sleeves.
"Wait, April said she would meet us here." Aaron tried stopping.
"I don't care. April can get lost for all I care. We should just call a cab and find our apartment." Everly said.
"Everly, come on. April is our cousin. You can't still be mad at her." Matthew folded his arms.
"I'm not mad, I just don't like her. Period." Everly let her brothers go.
"Well we're waiting for her. Whether you- oh hey, there she is!" Aaron exclaimed.
The three siblings watched April approach them. Everly rolled her eyes and stared at her phone.
"You guys made it! Congrats!" April waved.
"Don't get too excited." Everly said mostly to herself.
"Ignoring...that, since you are all here, I can take you to your new apartment." April told them.
"That would be lovely, 'Pril, thank you." Aaron smiled.
April turned around and guided them across the street and to the apartment building a few blocks away. Four strange people with shadow-shrouded faces greeted the short cousin.
"Yo, April, want to go to-" the one talking paused and noticed Aaron, Everly, and Matthew. "Who are they?"
April turned her head. "Oh, right. Boys, meet my cousins. Aaron, Everly, and Matthew." she pointed to each of them in turn.
"Are these your...friends?" Matthew asked. "And why is that one so big...?"
"Yes, they are friends. I might introduce you more formally later, but for now, we have to get you to your apartment." April walked up the steps for the door.
"Thanks but no thanks. I'd rather hang with Aaron's friends then yours any day." Everly rolled her eyes.
One of the guys stepped toward her. "Talk to her like that again, and I'll show you whose friends you'd rather hang out with." he growled.
"Nice try with the...whatever you were trying to do. Be protective? April, is this one your boyfriend?" Everly asked, though she didn't care.
April pushed open the door. "I can...explain everything later. We really have to get to your apartment now before dark."
Everly and the boy narrowed their eyes at each other as she followed April. Aaron had to pull her with them. The sibling's cousin led them up three flights of stairs and down a hall to a door labeled 'C21'.
"Your room, cousins." April said. "Here's the keys. One for each of you."
Aaron took his key and unlocked the door.
"This place is actually huge." Matthew's mouth gaped open.
"Not much bigger then our old house." Everly said sarcastically.
Aaron elbowed his sister and walked inside. Everly folded her arms and followed. Matthew had to be pushed by April after them.
"Kids, you finally made it!" Their mom exclaimed. "How do you like our fancy new place, huh?"
"Shiny, huge, and AMAZING!" Matthew threw himself on the soft couch.
Everly sighed at her brother's spiratic behavior and went to pick her room. Aaron thanked April again and watched her leave. Their mom took the time to tour the two brothers around the house.
"Hey dad." Everly poked her head into his room.
"Oh, Ev, you made it! Are your brothers outside?" He asked.
"Yeah, I just came to pick a room." Everly told him.
"No need. Your mother and I already assigned them. Yours should be the one right across the hall." her dad explained.
Everly left his room and opened the one next door. The bed was situated against the wall closer to her. A smallish window looked out over the streets on the other side. A nightstand and dresser sat by the bed on the far side and a TV stand was against the wall to her left. As Everly looked around, she knew settling in would be super easy.

"So, after that dramatic speech about Donnie, what do we do to get him outta there?" Leo asked.
"I don't know..." Raph whispered. "But we have to get him out."
"Maybe Draxum could-"
"No!"
"Okay..." Mikey sighed.
"Is there anyone we know other than Draxum that could possibly help us?" Leo wondered.
"Big Mama?" Mikey suggested.
"Oh Michael, please stop yo- actually...nevermind. We head to her hotel. Right now." Leo left Donnie's lab and then the Lair with his two brothers in tow.
Inside the brooch in Leo's hand, Donnie's mind buzzed. Stupid deal. He should have never trusted Big Mama even when she made it more 'friendly'. This was all his fault, and now his brothers were about to fall right into her master plan. There was no way they would solve all the puzzles before five days. They would die and Donnie would have to watch.
Soon enough, the turtle trio made it to Big Mama's office.
"Hello, turtley-boos. What brings you three to Big Mama's esteemed office?" She asked.
Leo placed the brooch on her desk. "We were wondering if you could help us get Donnie out of this thing?"
Big Mama pulled it closer and looked over it. Donnie growled inwardly at the smug look in her eyes.
She smirked. "I'm afraid not. Your brother got himself in there with a deal. And the only way to get him out is solving some puzzles I've prepared."
"A deal? What kind of deal? What did you make him agree to?" Raph demanded, slamming a fist on her desk.
"Nothing special. He just agreed to let me take care of you three. The deal was if all of you could solve some puzzles I created to understand how he feels, I would let him out. I'm giving you five days. At the end of five days, if you have not successfully completed every puzzle, you'll each be dead at sunset. And he'll have to stay in the brooch." Big Mama explained with a laugh.
Donnie looked away from Big Mama and at his brothers. He wanted to scream. She hadn't allowed him to communicate with his brothers at all doing this.
"He-he wanted to get rid of...us?" Leo stammered.
"No, no that isn't true. Donnie wouldn't..." Mikey trailed off and stared at the floor.
"But he would. Of course he would. We're leaving. And that brooch is staying here. We don't need him. We never did." Leo swung his swords through the air and a crackling blue portal appeared.
"Leo, this is probably just a misunderstanding. We-"
Leo cut Raph off. "It's not a misunderstanding. He made the deal. He wanted to get rid of us. The tech wiz smart mouth. That's all he ever was, and all he ever will be. I said we're leaving without it."
Raph and Mikey looked back hesitantly at the brooch and Big Mama as they approached the portal. Donnie couldn't believe his eyes.
"Good luck, turtley-boos. The puzzles are already out. The clock is ticking...whatever you still decide." she laughed.
The portal disappeared. Big Mama stared deep into the brooch still below her before lifting one hand. A more ghostly version appeared in front of Donnie.
"They- they just..." he trailed off.
"Left? Yeah, I know. How sad. They even called you what you knew you were to them. All you were good for was making new tech. It doesn't seem like they'll come back either." Big Mama smirked.
Donnie growled and started to walk towards her, but the chain around his ankle stopped him midway. "If this wasn't there, I would have killed you by now."
"Seems I need to add more then..." She snapped.
Chains rose from where the original started and clicked around his wrists and other ankle. She laughed a little more and vanished. Donnie yanked against the new chains furiously.
"Your brothers have no interest in solving those puzzles. Better hope they come to their senses sooner or later." Big Mama said from the outside.
"They will! And nothing...will..." Donnie sank to his knees.
Donnie curled his legs closer to his plastron. A few tears ran down his face. Moonlight streamed through Big Mama's huge office windows.
"They'll- they'll come back, Donatello. Your brothers will come back and they'll solve the puzzles and make up for your mistake." He whispered. "Oh, who am I kidding, they wouldn't after what Big Mama said."
"Don't be so sure." a louder, deeper voice said. "Michael made me come."
Donnie turned inside the brooch toward the voice. Draxum. Of course.
"You can...hear me? How?" he asked quietly.
"I still have mystic powers myself. Not the strongest after the Shredder incident, but still, they're there." Draxum replied. "Let's get you home."
He picked the brooch of the desk and made a purple portal. He walked through and it closed behind them.
"Did you get Donnie?" Mikey's voice asked eagerly.
Draxum held the brooch out. "As you requested."
"Good." Mikey snatched the brooch up. "You said you could hear him, correct?"
"I indeed can. But knowing Big Mama, she definitely told him he couldn't say anything to you three while you were doing the puzzles. If I give you everything he's saying, then she might find out and never let him out." Draxum explained.
"If she finds out, you can get him out right?" Mikey wondered.
"I honestly don't know. This magic is familiar, but not enough for me to use it to get him out. Big Mama is still our only hope, unfortunately. Best we play by the rules for now." Draxum said.
before I go on, I just wanted to say I have absolutely no clue what to make these last two riddles/puzzles. Or any of them for that matter. So I apologize that this sounds stupid. Cause it is. Don't try to deny it.
"Leo, hurry up, come on! We only have two hours!" Mikey fretted.
"You can't rush me! This is the hardest one. Maybe stop complaining and help?" Leo shot back.
Donnie stared up through the brooch at his brothers. His mind still wouldn't stop buzzing with thoughts of it all ending here.
(90 minutes left)
"Clearly I can't do this myself, so will one of you just please get over here and help me!" Leo shouted.
(60 minutes left)
"Only an hour left guys! I could still really use helpful brothers and not fretful ones!" Leo said.
(30 minutes left)
"Come on, Leo, think. What would Donnie put...?"
(5 minutes left...)
"Raph, Mike-" Leo looked over his shoulder.
(4 minutes... 3 minutes.... 2 minutes...)
"I think I got it! I think I know what this is! Yes, we're so getting you out of there Dee!" Leo exclaimed.
He scribbled something with 30 seconds to spare. The hologram Big Mama appeared behind Donnie for a third time.
"They seemed to have finished all the puzzles." she commented. "Well, a deals a deal. I'll allow you to speak to your brothers now. Tell them to come with the brooch to my office and I'll set you free there." she disappeared again.
Donnie let a small smile cross his face. They had somehow done it. He wouldn't die after all.
"Guys, I um..." He trailed off.
"Did you two hear that?" Leo asked.
"Nope, must have just been the wind." Mikey folded his arms.
"Please, guys. I know I made a mistake! She said all she would do was give you puzzles to...understand how I feel. She said it was friendly. I-"
"You wanted to get rid of us!" Leo shouted.
Donnie sank to his knees, the chains once there had vanished. "Big Mama said to go to her office to take me out of here. But I don't deserve it."
Raph slowly reached for the brooch. Leo pushed his hand away.
"You heard him, he doesn't deserve to be let out." Leo said.
"He's our brother, Leo. This whole situation was just a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. And you know Donnie will try to make up for it." Raph explained.
"No, actually he won't." Leo whispered. "Fine, to Big Mama's stinky office it is."
He swung his swords and made a portal. Raph went through first with the brooch tight in his hand. Mikey and Leo followed before the portal closed.
"You made it turtley-boos. Congratulations on solving the puzzles. Unfortunately, I don't like how you managed to solve them all so easily." Big Mama told them. "Might as well say good bye to the purple one now."
She ripped the brooch from Raph's hand and crushed it between hers.
"Hey, you said you would get him out if we solved them all. That was your deal. Had a change of heart, huh?" Leo growled.
"That was before you solved them too quickly. Now I'm going to crush your brother then kill you three." Big Mama laughed.
Mikey reached up and hit the green button by his neck. "Panic button, baby."
"That's what that's supposed to be?" Big Mama questioned.
"Yeah. Made by Donnie himself. Dad should be here any second now." Mikey said confidently.
Vines suddenly burst through the large window behind Big Mama's desk.
"Still aren't using the dimbly door, are you Draxxie?" She asked impatiently.
"Still aren't using real words, Big Mama?" Draxum shot back. "Now release the purple one or this won't end well for you."
"What do you think you could possibly do to make me?" Big Mama wondered.
"This entire hotel is coming down unless you release him. Your choice." Draxum said.
"Must you always do that. I had to rebuild once, I guess I don't feel like doing it again. Fine, I'll get him out." Big Mama grumbled.
The same purple magic that had put Donnie in the brooch swirled around him again. A few seconds later, fresh air hit his face and he glanced down at his hands.
"There he's free. You're welcome and goodbye." She said.
Donnie looked up at his brothers. "I really am sor-"
They launched themselves at him and didn't let go.
"We know you are. And we're glad to have you back. Brother." Raph whispered.
Donnie sobbed and leaned more into his brothers. "I swear, I'm never making a deal ever again."
"None of us are." Leo agreed.
Saki walked into the room and kneeled beside her sisters. Their king stared won at them.
"You've gotten all four?" he asked.
"Yes, sir. They are ready for the plan." Saki said.
"Very good. I knew I could count on you four. Bring them in." the king added to a guard in the corner.
The guard nodded and left. Saki and her sisters looked over their shoulders. The brothers walked in with hands bound behind their back.
"Hello boys. Welcome to the Tanuki kingdom. Everyone appreciates your cooperation with giving us the information we need about Baron Draxum. Now I think it's time you help us get our revenge on him." the king told them calmly.
"And why would we do that?" Leo demanded.
Kaede stood up. "Your Majesty, with all do respect, he won't go along with it. None of them will. They're all stubborn like that. Especially the blue one though."
"Silence." the king waved his hand dismissively.
Kaede shut her mouth and looked to the ground. Her sisters stood up with her.
"Bring in the sorceress." The king commanded a closer guard.
That guard nodded quickly and headed into a hidden hallway behind him. A few seconds later, the sorceress emerged and bowed solemnly at the king.
"You require my services?"
"Yes. Make these four only listen to me. We need them for something." the king whispered.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
The sorceress walked closer to the turtles. She lifted her hand and misty magic poured out. Saki and her sisters watched as it curled around the boys and forced them to their knees. Watching this process was always hard.
The sorceress flicked her wrist and the magic disappeared. "They should be under your control now, Majesty."
"Let's see. Turtles, kneel before your King." He demanded.
In one movement, the four moved from their original position to a submissive bow in front of the King. Saki suddenly couldn't help the flash of an unknown feeling go through her as she watched. When she glanced at her sisters, she knew they were feeling it too. But they all had to push it down. The sisters had done what they were told. Everything they did to do it shouldn't matter. Can't matter.
"When do we start looking for the Baron, Sir?" Tomio asked.
"Now." The King said simply. "And we have these turtles to lead us to that 'April's school' as they told you."
Saki slipped into another hallway. Her sisters followed behind her from the ceiling. She headed toward the labeled cafeteria and went inside.
"Where would he be?" Ko hissed.
"If I had to guess, somewhere back there." Kaede pointed to a door beyond a counter with light pouring through.
"Spread out. If we all go in at once, he might know somethings up." Saki said.
The other three found positions far enough away as they advanced toward the door.
"When will the King be here with the turtles?" Tomio asked so only her sisters could hear.
"He said to tell him when we got Draxum's location. That's it." Saki replied.
The four reached the door and slowly opened it. They leaped inside the room and hid in the darkest shadows around the kitchen. The Baron was on the complete other side and turned around when the door creaked.
"Who's in my kitchen?" He demanded.
Saki carefully brought an arm up to her face and whispered into it. "We've got him. In the kitchen at the back of the cafeteria."
No response. Just the familiar white portal opening between her and the door. The King walked out of it followed by the turtles.
"Hello, Draxum." The King smirked.
Saki took her naginata from her back. Tomio revealed her daggers. Ko and Kaede took out their kantanas. They stepped out of the shadows.
"You." Draxum growled. He glanced at the turtles. "What did you do to them?"
"Just a little sorcery is all. Nothing too bad." The King shrugged. "Attack him. Now."
Leo and Donnie went after Draxum first with their weapons the King had let them get before coming here. Raph followed, then Mikey. Saki felt the same feeling go through her from before. She tried to push it down again, but it persisted.
"Girls...?" she trailed off.
"Yeah. We can't do this..." Tomio whispered.
"Your Majesty, maybe we don't need revenge. We can probably just come to a compromise instead." Saki told the King quietly.
"Don't need revenge?! Of course we need revenge! Draxum needs to pay for what he did!" the King shouted.
Saki glanced at her sisters and tightened her grip on her naginata. She rushed forward and got in between the brothers and Draxum.
"Snap out of it!" She shouted at them. "Draxum isn't your enemy!"
Leo brought his swords down and got her arm. Saki sucked in air but didn't stumble. Draxum remained in a defensive stance behind her.
"If you are against me, you die with Draxum!" The King growled.
Tomio, Ko, and Kaede didn't hesitate to join their sister.
"Traitors! We will be back for you Draxum! I will not stop until you die!" The King went back through the portal behind him and it closed.
The turtles didn't move and just stared at the girls. Tomio and Kaede narrowed their eyes. Eventually Leo turned around and swiped his swords through the air so a sparkling blue portal appeared. The brothers hesitated before they went through and it closed behind them.
Saki took a breath. "They hesitated."
"What?" Tomio asked over her shoulder.
"They hesitated going through the portal." Saki's eyes sparkled. "We almost got them back."
"Next time." Ko said confidently. "For now, we need to get you somewhere secretive to take care of those cuts."
"I know a place." Draxum spoke up.
"It can't be your apartment. Or the turtle's lair. The King would find us too easily." Kaede said.
"I know. What you girls did was brave. I might have some spare bandages in my old lab. The only problem is that it's in the one place I can't go; The Hidden City." Draxum sighed.
"That's no problem." Saki whispered. "My sister loves to take things from others. She might have a cloaking brooch for you."
Kaede grumbled but dug around in her bag. "Nope, don't have one."
"Then we don't go down there. Anything here we can use?" Saki looked around.
Draxum walked over to a drawer and opened it. He pulled out a roll of tape.
"We can use this and tear some paper towels into strips. That's the best I got." Draxum said.
"It'll do. While you do that, I can tell you that the King won't waste any more time then he has to to kill you. With the turtles on his side, he might just get the revenge he wants." Saki explained.
"I know the King more then anyone. Unfortunately. I know exactly how to free the turtles from his control, but it requires magic. And not in the way you think." Draxum wrapped another strip of towel around her wound.
"How then? What kind of magic?" Tomio asked.
Saki pointed her naginata at the white portal starting to form. Tomio, Ko, and Kaede readied their weapons too. Draxum had his hand ready with roots.
"We're back and ready." The King's voice echoed.
The turtles stepped into the kitchen and the girls tightened their grips on their weapons. Saki narrowed her eyes and swung at Mikey. He dodged and wrapped his nun-chuck's chain around her leg and yanked. She fell with a grunt and jabbed his plastron with the back end of her naginata.
"Get off of her, Mikey!" Ko leaped over and pulled him away.
He let himself be pulled. Saki felt a burst of hope.
"Yes! Fight it Mikey! Come back, please!" Ko exclaimed.
Mikey gripped his head like he had a headache and stared at the floor. He groaned and his legs almost gave out.
"Come on Mikey!" Ko encouraged.
Mikey returned his hands to his sides and looked up. "K-Ko? Saki? But you guys-"
"Yeah, we...did. But we regret it big time. Think you can help us get your brothers back?" Ko asked.
"I'm still a little...out of it. But I can try." Mikey replied.
"Good." Ko said. "Leo first."
Leo turned at his name and watched the trio with narrowed eyes.
"We might need Kaede too." Saki whispered.
"Good point. Hey, Kaede!" Ko shouted.
Kaede looked toward her. "Yeah? Is it Leo's turn?"
"Yeah. We got Mikey to help too." Ko told her.
Kaede leaped over and landed beside them. Leo raised his swords. She blocked the others from him.
"Fight it, Leo. We're here." She whispered.
"Snap out of it Leo." Mikey added.
Leo didn't move. He closed his eyes tightly and shook his head slowly.
"Come back to us Leo. Your family is right here." Mikey said.
Leo reopened his eyes. "I know, Mikey."
"Good, time for Raph." Saki looked his way.
Tomio held up a thumb already. "Got him!"
Saki took a deep breath. "Then it's time to get Donnie back."
"He's not going to be so easy." Leo reminded her.
"Yeah, I can only assume. Here it goes." Saki headed in his direction.
Donnie pointed his tech bo's tip at her. She got in front of him.
"It's okay Donnie, it's me. You don't have to be the King's puppet anymore. Fight his control. For your brothers." Saki whispered.
He made no move. Saki tried to get closer, but he backed away.
"I made a huge mistake. I should never have tricked you. It was the worst mistake I ever made. You have a brilliant mind, Donnie, one I could never give up. I guess what I'm trying to say is...I love you." Saki's voice broke at the end.
Donnie still didn't move.
"Donnie...?" Saki trailed off.
"He's fighting it." Raph smiled slightly.
Saki stared deep into Donnie's eyes. He eventually breathed out a sigh.
She gasped and smiled. "Welcome back."
Donnie suddenly pulled her closer. "Glad to be back. Being under someone's control is not fun. Especially when you can...see what's happening."
The four turtles turned to stare at Draxum, who merely shrugged.
Leo turned to Saki next. "Sorry about your uh arm." he rubbed the back of his head nervously.
Saki waved his apology off. "It's not a big deal. It'll be gone before we know it."
"Finally back home! That took much longer then expected." Leo said.
Saki laughed a little. The group had easily made the King retreat after getting the boys back and went home afterwards. Well, the boys went home at least.
"Um, Saki, where are we going to go now? The King definitely won't let us back into the kingdom." Tomio wondered.
Saki flicked her tail and stopped. The boys continued ahead.
"I don't know, Tomio." she sighed.
Donnie suddenly rested a hand on her shoulder. "You four are obviously staying with us."
"No, we don't deserve that after what we did. I'm sure there's a nice place elsewhere." Saki whispered.
"Sure, you did betray all of us, but we also wouldn't be here if it weren't for you four." Donnie added.
Saki looked up at him with a smile. "I guess you're right."
"I'm dying to have a pizza slice..." Mikey sighed.
Ko laughed. "Then let's get you a pizza slice, boo!" she grabbed his hand and pulled him away.
"Guess we should follow." Raph headed away after them.
"You're not leaving without me, mister!" Tomio rushed away.
Leo and Kaede shrugged at each other and left. Saki was about to go too when Donnie grabbed her hand and turned her around.
"You meant what you said back there?" he asked.
Saki stared into eyes. She laughed once. "You know I did, Mr. Tech Wiz."
Notes!
143 is actually 'I love you' but in numbers check Google, I'm not lying I looked it up before starting this entire collab

💜💜💜
Donnie sat at the edge of a building, waiting for Saki.
Usually he was the one who was late, never her, and it brought him a sense of discomfort.
“Why hello.” A cheerful voice said from behind him.
Donnie whipped his head around to see Ko, though of course he didn’t know that was her name.
The soft shell shuddered slightly, finding the fact that there was a tanuki just like Saki, similar looks and all. Maybe this new one was a shapeshifter, or a witch.
Maybe something had happened to Saki, and this tanuki took her place. Donnie began to think hard, worrying slightly for Saki.
The tanuki grinned, stepping closer, finding his skeptical looks funny. “You sure are a hard thinker, Purple.”
“Who are you?” Donnie growled, standing up and taking a defensive pose.
“Oh why that doesn’t matter right now, silly!” Ko giggled, taking another step closer so he was on the very edge of the building. “What matters is that you get in the portal.”
Donnie looked down, and a glowing white portal opened up behind him, floating in mid air. His gaze shifted between Ko and the portal, afraid of what she was about to do.
Ko snickered and pushed him off the building. He fell for a second, before being sucked into the portal. He was too scared to scream, all he did was close his eyes and brace himself.
Ko pulled out a tablet, typing something in it. “Target one acquired. Let’s hope my sisters can do a good of job as me.”
With that, the young tanuki opened up a portal herself, and leaped through, disappearing in a heartbeat, as if she and Donnie were never there.
🧡🧡🧡
The afternoon sun beat down on Mikey’s shell as he leaned on a pole, waiting for Ko to arrive.
He knew she would come eventually, right? She couldn’t forget, could she?
Mikey began to pace back and forth, hoping that Ko would arrive sooner or later.
“Hello there, hon.” A bold voice purred from the alley. Mikey raised a brow, spinning around to see another tanuki girl, Kaede, leaning against the brick wall of the alley, a smirk on her face.
“What in the— you’re not Ko!” Mikey growled, backing up. Kaede laughed, shaking her head. “Yup, Ko’s not here right now.”
Mikey sighed, unsure of whether Kaede was a threat or a friend. “Do you know where she is? I need to find her-“
“Oh yes. She’s right through this portal.” Kaede laughed, trying to seem friendly. “Step right through and you’ll see her.” Kaede spun her sword, and a portal opened infront of her.
“How do I know you’re telling the truth?” Mikey whispered, looking unsure of the tanuki.
Kaede flicked her tail in annoyance, walking behind him and placing a paw on his shell, and without him knowing it, grabbing his nunchucks and hiding them in here purse. “Trust the process, hon.” She whispered, smiling slyly.
Mikey nodded slightly, stepping closer to the portal. “Alright. But if this is some trap, my brothers will find me! I know it.” He threatened, looking through the hazy portal.
“Sure they will hon. Now have fun~” Kaede snickered, and pushed him in the portal, waiting for the sound of the thump of his body hitting the other side before quickly closing it.
“That little turtle is way too trusting. He should know better, being a ninja and all. But nevertheless, Target Two has been captured. Now it’s up to Tomio and Saki to get the rest. And I know my little Leo is stubborn, he’ll put up a fight.” Kaede mumbled to herself, before opening up another portal and stepping through it, snickering softly.
💙💙💙
Leo stood by the entrance to the manhole, his arms crossed as he looked around for Kaede.
“She’s probably hiding, waiting to sneak attack me or something.” Leo mumbled to himself, walking around.
“Why hello…” a soft voice whispered from the shadows. Leo blinked, rubbing his eyes. “Huh..?” He mumbled, and then a look of shock crossed his face when a young tanuki girl, Tomio, stepped out.
Tomio circled around him, her tail swaying side to side as she opened up a portal a few feet away from them. “So, we can do this the easy way, where you get in the portal with no hesitation, or we do this the hard way, where I make you get in.” She growled, a small smile on her face.
Leo took a fighting stance, pulling his swords out. “I’m not following you anywhere.” He said, a low growl in his voice.
Tomio groaned, “alright then.” She pulled out two daggers, holding them out. Leo charged at her, swinging his swords at her. She swiftly dodges, and leaps over him, her daggers grazing his shoulder.
Leo winces slightly, a small amount of blood coming to the surface. This time Tomio swings her daggers, and he just barely misses, but falls flat on his shell.
Tomio places her foot on his plastron, pressing down ever so slightly. “I won!” She teased, her voice soft. “That means you’re coming with me.”
She picks helps him up, and then forces him into the portal, a huge grin plastered on her face.
“Target three acquired. Now it’s up to Saki to get my precious Raph.” She mutters to herself, typing on her tablet as she opens up another portal and steps in.
❤️❤️❤️
Saki crouches in the shadows, watching Raph sit solemnly on the edge of the building. He was much bigger than her, so she brought a sack to bag him.
She knew she wouldn’t be able to just simply push him into the portal, so instead she would sneak attack.
Raph swung his legs against the side of the building, looking bored. “When will Tomio be here…” he muttered, tiredness creeping in. The stars were now out and shining, and the sleepy sound cars humming on the street below filled the city.
Raph began snapping in and out of sleepiness, and when he was dozed off, Saki leaped forward, wrapping the bag around his head.
“What in the-!!” Raph growled, struggling about and almost falling off of the building. “Now, now, big fella.” Saki whispered, slowly moving him toward the portal she had just made.
“Tomio?” Raph asked, his voice muffled and almost inaudible beneath the bag. “Nope.” Saki shook her head, inching him closer to the portal.
“Who are you then?” He hissed, beginning to thrash more. Saki chuckled softly, “That doesn’t concern you, big guy.”
Raph growled, “get this bag off of me!!” Saki didn’t listen, and with all the strength she could find, pushed him into the portal, and waiting until she saw him thump down on the other side to close it.
Saki looked down at her paws, whipping out her tablet and typing in that she had gotten target four. “Big red is strong.” She muttered, scratching her head. “He’ll make a great warrior for our leader…”
