The streets hold stories Paved passages with fragments Of bodies long passed.

The neon lights lit up the narrow spaces, reaching up tall above where people slept. Pinks, blues, reds and yellows spread around corners. Giving comfort to those seeking a succulent meal.

It was midnight and a diner announced itself within the neon maze. Two shady figures wearing a long jacket and unrevealing wide brim hats enter the maze and look up to the sign that sat on top of a string of paper lanterns. It read ‘DiNEr’ the letters mixed in upper and lowercase. It didn’t look like it was done purposely either. Regardless, the figures were hungry, so they opened the door and ducked underneath the frame.

A man behind the counter flashes a small smile then grabs at a cigarette and takes a drag.

“Sit down, I’ll make something for you guys,” the bearded, bald man said balancing his cigarette on the corner of his lip.

The two figures took off their hats and trench coats. Hanging them on the chairs only feet away from the entrance. A man and a woman. Both identical in appearance wearing short ponytails and tea shade frameless glasses.

“You guys have any allergies?”

A snug spot decorated with old picture frames of what seemed to be random people and pictures of food. Dirty off white paint that peeled at places. Not the most appealing of decor.

“No,” they both replied.

“That’s good, I’ll sort you out,” he says walking off.

Both the visitors smiled nervously and looked to each other.

“No menu?” The woman said.

“I guess no manners either,” the man replied.

“So, my names Daniel and I’ll make you a meal based on the feeling I get from you.”

“Wait, what?” The woman replied to Daniel the bearded man.

“I’ll make you something,” he smiles again then walks off.

“We’ll that’s unique,” the man said.

I think that This man doesn’t even know what he is walking into. The reason I think that is because you at very dark and when you are, you can see very well. It also looks like his is walking into crime cause in crime movies when they show crime or danger they usually show a alley. The reason they might show a alley is because it brings mystery and suspension to the movie itself.

You don’t want to know what I just did in this alley. Sure, you may have some ideas, but not the ones you’re thinking of, but go ahead, guess, because you won’t ever know.
