Chronicle Of Stars
**_The Birth Of Stars_**
Among the sky
A star is born
Bright and happy
Small and white
The ones below the sea
Made the little star feel whole
They always smiled up at the little star
Crafting her art from bubbles
The little star
Blissfully unaware
Of the truth of the ones below the sea
As the little star grew up
So did the ones below the sea
But the smiles the little star once loved
No longer looked up at her
The bubble artwork
Now just still waves, unbothered by nature
The ones below the sea
Simply a reflection of the little stars yearning
Yearning for something more than just being the little star
Hanging in the sky
Waiting for the day to come
Where she is finally free
The little star knew it was time
Time to break free from the ones below the sea
Afraid the little star felt
Uncertain of what awaits
Below the sky
Away from the only place she ever truly called home
**_The Stars Are Bleeding_**
Beneath the shroud of night’s embrace
The little star wept in silence
Her tears staining the sky
Weeping, silently
Unheard by the other stars
Unseen by the ones who matter
Every day the little star hung there
Gleaming bright in the sky
Unable to break free
From the customary misery that was her life
The little star exhausted
Emotionally
Physically
The little star hung there
Bleeding, bleeding
The bandages not thick enough
To repair a broken
Bleeding heart
The little star knew something was missing
But unaware of what that was
Her little starry body
Dangling
Almost falling
Her bleeding little starry body
Ready to take the leap
**_The Death of Stars_**
As the star fell
Falling, and falling
Falling far from the sky
She felt her life flash before her gleaming eyes
The once bright, twinkling, little star
Now filled with woe
Now filled with the sensation of peace
She saw the ones below the sea getting closer
Closer
Before hitting the bitter, unforgiving waters
The ones below the sea
Surrounding her
Telling her to be a good little star
And place herself back above the sky
Falling
The star fell further and further into the sea
Before hitting foreign lands
There she awoke
Finally feeling whole
Mysterious creatures surrounding her
The star told them she did not wish to return to her old life
The little star was dead
In that moment the little star died
And was reborn as what she truly was deep within herself all along
Now one of the ones below the sea
Her scaly body new yet fulfilling
Her long flowy hair
Trailing behind her
Exploring all the possibilities
Finally broken free
Able to roam further than just the sky
Now looking up, at the new little stars
