Out of the dark sky It gradually emerges Crossing the horizon As time continues forward A blanket of warmth forms Surrounding my soul The prickling burn on my skin Fills my heart with passion Drawing me in for hours Until it sets below the trees Behind the mountains Under the sea All that is left Is a faint memory Of the light between you and me

Structure - I like that you’ve divided this up into three lines per stanza. It’s digestible and cohesive. Tiny note in regards to flow: you may not need the word “gradually.” Because of the number of syllables, it drags your pace a bit. Since in the earlier line you say “hours” I think you don’t need to mention time once more. Up to you though!

“…a faint memory of the light between you and me” gorgeous way to end this :)
