The Reckoning
Once she flew
And then she fell
As if the air itself would no longer support her
Once high above the ridge line she saw only beauty
She then sat amongst the clouds calling her magic
And she stayed in the gentle fog of romance
Reclining into a trance of sorts
Basking in the eyes of another she took him into her heart
She was exhilarated tingling and full of her own unique femininity.
She was intoxicated by this feeling
She made time not to eat or drink but to fantasize
To imagine in detail her newfound but strangely inherent passion
And once she flew
And then she fell
By a cliff against the rocks
Bloodied and broken her daydreams had ceased
She then picked a wing up and then another
And slowly rose from the pain
Would she ever fall again after altering her fight path
with all honesty and distress
She admitted her truth
Yes probably she would fall back to this
Should he visit again
