POEM STARTER
'Beyond the maps, where legends dwell, I ventured into the unknown.'
Use this line to open an adventurous poem.
Unexplored
Beyond the maps
Where legends dwell,
I ventured into the
Unknown.
Traveling by foot across
Distant, unexplored lands,
I record my adventures
In my journal
So that if and when
I do return,
I may share my stories
To all those who listen.
Unexplored territory,
Through rain, snow, and mud,
Through mountains, deserts, and valleys.
To see it all
Is what I want,
And that is what
I’ll do.
I’ll venture far and wide,
To see it all,
Even if it takes
My life
Along with it.
No maps to guide my way,
Heck,
I don’t even have a compass,
It’s just
Me, myself, and I
On this solo ride
Through unexplored lands
That lie
Before me.
I’ll try
My best to make it through,
But it will be worth it
Even if I
Die.
Unexplored lands,
Beyond the maps…
Just know,
I will soon be there.
