But I also know you don’t benefit from my death. In fact, it is a burden for you. In order to keep my death a secret, you’ll have to clean up my body and the crime scene. That will take time, and you don’t have much time.

You could always not worry about cleaning up the mess, but then you might get caught. And if you get caught, you’ll go to jail or even die. And that would be an even bigger inconvenience.

You also don’t have many weapon options. You could strangle me, but that would take too long. You could bash my head into the ground, but that would be too messy. In this room, at this time, there isn’t a good way to murder me.

Do whatever you want, but I’m really not worth the risk or your time.
