be frozen in time.

instead of the blood

that flows through your

veins

i have bees

drip

dripping through mine

and whispering in

my ears

and vines choke

me out

and flowers bloom

within my lungs

and roots twist

around my stomach

while you are

only

human

i am something

of the foliage

and nothing of

the species i

should be
