She felt numb. He pushed past her as if she was just a normal object. I heard the car turn on and leave the house, with a drunk driver. The last time he looked at her (2 weeks ago) his eyes were as dark as night. She didn't know how he could see. She took a black hood off the hook on the wall. Slipping it over her head, she put it on. She ran out the door tears in her eyes, brown hair stuck to her face. Turning towards the dark side of the town, the opposite way he was going. Then she stopped where stone poked up out of the ground. The graveyard. With her fingers, she started digging. She wouldn't stop until she found him. Some said she was making a mistake. But she still came back to the graveyard.
